"This was our third time staying at this cottage. We love everything about it. It's clean, updated, has great amenities and the most break-taking views on Long Lake. It's located close to downtown TC, too, as well as about a half an hour from Sleeping Bear Dunes."

"House had plenty of room. Originally planned on having 9 people staying, but half weren't able to make it, so it was just my family of 4. There was a lot of room and 6+ additional people would have had no problem. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and video game machine. It was nice having a small beach across the street (with use of kayaks), a convenient store next door (with pizza!), and local mall and stores within 20 minutes. The kitchen, living room, and master queen bedroom were huge and gave everyone plenty of room to split up. It was also nice having a washer and dryer so we didn't have to go home and do laundry before the weekend was over. We went during the week of the National Cherry Festival which everyone enjoyed, and there was plenty to do around town to keep everyone happy - even when everyone said "can we not do anything today and just stay at the house and relax?" We all thoroughly enjoyed our week vacation in Traverse City and Halcyon House!!!"

"Loved the crystal clear water and beautiful sunsets. Cottage is beautifully furnished and dishes, pans, etc. like new. No heat, so due to cold weather we used the cozy den with the fireplace every evening. Plenty of blankets for comfortable sleeping. Enjoyed our own kayak and motor boat to explore lake and its many islands. Also spent a rainy day in Traverse City."

"Our family really enjoyed the house. The owner goes beyond what I have ever experienced before to make you have a great stay. What you might not be able to get out the ad is all the extra the owner provides for you (extra towels, toys for kids, fishing poles, life jackets for an army, extras that would help with a toddler (pack and play, booster chair, baby gate...), well equipped kitchen and a welcome package. We packed as if we were renting any other house and found we didn't need half the stuff we brought."
