  • Lovely, Relaxing Property

"We stayed the first week of Sept. It was absolutely beautiful. The cottage was very clean. Comfy beds and furniture. Kitchen was fully stocked. We couldn't get enough of the deck! We saw freighter's going by every morning. And even could see the islands on really clear days. Gorgeous sunsets. We even had a fire in the fireplace one night that got chilly. We can't say enough about this place. Its magical! We were so relaxed and had such a great time. Thanks!"

  • Wonderful Neighborhood, Friendly Beach, Amenities of Home!

"Having visited the Leelanau Peninsula many times in my childhood, I chose it to celebrate my 50th birthday with family! The house was ideal for me and my husband, our two kids and significant others and our moms. Their is plenty of living space to spread out and just hang out, yet still have privacy. My husband and I enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs bedroom which also is how you walk out to the beach. The deck is amazing and one night we did see two does with their little ones. The beach was a little smaller than what I imagined, but was still wonderful to walk each night and spend the day playing in the water. We found a turtle as well as a couple of petoskey stones. We rented Kayaks and bikes from body balance in Suttons Bay. Kayaks were perfect at this location and we used them regularly. The fire pit was also used regularly as all necessities are right there! If you have someone elderly or with trouble walking though, the path to the beach is a little difficult. We found it easier for my mom to use the public walk way which borders the property. The kitchen was amazing and we found everything you could possibly need to make a delightful meal! All sorts of pots and pans, a griddle, coffee maker, plates, we never ran out of anything! All in all I loved the place and would highly recommend it! The subdivision this home is located in is truly amazing and friendly. If I could, I would move there!"

  • Mi favorite Northern Spot is Mi Northern Addiction!!

"My family and I have had the pleasure of renting Mi Northern Addiction in both the cold and warm weather seasons. Northport is a hidden treasure of natural beauty which offers a peaceful setting for the outdoor adventurer but also is convenient to excellent dining, unique waterfront shopping and quaint up north spots. The hosts were very accomodating, the blue house is charming, comfortable, clean and equipped with all the necessary conveniences. The view of the lake is spectacular from the deck on the house and the beachfront campfires are what memoires are made of. I have young boys who like to swim if you are planning on swimming in the back be sure to bring your water shoes to protect your feet from the zebra mussels. If you prefer a sandy beach with tennis courts and play park you can walk to the private association beach down the street, or you can check out the three other association beach spots within 1 mile of the house. As a renter you are allowed access to all of these groomed areas. The residents are very welcolming to all. If you prefer the woods there is about 3 miles of walking/running trails within a few steps outside of your door. Don't forget about the 17 local wineries up the M-22 Penninsula, the local downtown areas of Northport (have to go to Stubbs to eat), Leland & Fishtown, Suttons Bay (Roman Wheel Pizza), Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor and of course Traverse City. This property exceeded our expecations and will be our return to spot for years to come."

  • Everything you could ask for!

"What a great week our group of ten spent at this clean and spacious home! We used it as our home base while exploring the area. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The separate dining area with a large table and six chairs was great for games as well as meals. Having only one shower was not an issue as we simply staggered showers and laundered towels in the extra large size washer/dryer. Our favorite room in the house was the 'sun porch'. Our teenage girls (4 of them) took over this room and added an air bed. They could stay up listening to music and talking late while the parents could sleep peacefully upstairs. The room could get chilly at night but a heater was provided if it got too cold. The location just a short drive to Northport was great. We loved Barbs bakery and music in the park on Friday evening. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again next year!"
