  • Great Vacation

"Our family (including our dog) enjoyed a wonderful stay here. The owners are very polite and helpful. The home is nice clean and comfortable, stocked with pretty much anything you would need. Fishing wasn't the best but several other lakes in the area to try out as well. The lake was clean and not to busy to enjoy water sports. Quite area and friendly neighbors. Will be planning another visit!"

  • Fantastic vacation home for 3 generations of family

"Our family, which included 6 adults and 4 young children, stayed here during a week long vacation. The proximity of the home to the town of Charlevoix was fantastic and allowed us to leisurely stroll down for shopping, food and entertainment. Since most of us are avid cyclists, the Little Traverse Wheelway (http://www.traillink.com/trail/little-traverse-wheelway.aspx) offered a great avenue to explore the neighboring towns and avoid any motor traffic while doing so. Our family never felt "on top" of each other during our stay, all having our own bathrooms and plenty of dining and living space both indoors and out to sprawl. The kids room was great, which included 4 twin beds, with ceiling fans and a large flat-screen tv for movies and such. The one issue we had during our stay, a fault with one of the air-conditioner units, was addressed immediately and without inconvenience to us by the owner, Tim. Would definitely recommend this place to others."

  • The best vacation spot in Northern Michigan

"My family and I have vacationed in Northern Michigan for nearly 40 years - searching for that perfect home and perfect beach/waterfront property. The Fox House is that. Not only is the home updated, spacious and filled to the gills with every amenity possible, the outdoor experience cannot be beat. You are on the leeward side of Lake Michigan meaning that the beach is gorgeous, the water is calm and you can safely swim out for what feels like miles. Northport - and its surrounding communities - continues to grow and offers great biking, running, water sports, and restaurants. This is our fourth year at the Fox House and we will be back next year."

  • Great house for couples or "girls wine weekend get away"

"The house is well set up for family or couples or for us,, a girls get away. Close to winery's and secluded for privacy. Very well maintained and all the comforts of home. We found out after we arrived that friends had booked this same house last year and were also very satisfied. The owners were very prompt returning answers to questions and plan to book again next year. THANKS!"
