  • Wonderful property!

"We had five adults in our group for a week and for 2 days our 2 grandchildren stayed with us as well. This house has tons of space, is very well equipped and very comfortable. There was plenty of space in the yard between the lake and the house for a game of baseball for the big and little boys. The lower level walk-out boasts a poker table and a bumper pool table. You won't find a better view and there is endless Lake Michigan beach to walk on. The owners are just two doors down and make themselves available for anything you need. This is a great vacation spot!"

  • Second time Around at East Bay Beach Front Home

"We had a delightful return trip to this quiet, secluded Northern Michigan home. We stayed a week longer than last time & enjoyed more time down at the shoreline & beach area, sight seeing in nearby towns & of course, playing lots of golf. This home is in excellent condition & the owners are accessible if need be. Our weather was good so we were able to grill outdoors & dine "al fresco" at a few restaurants nearby. 5 stars & hats off once again to this great escape location - we appreciate the opportunity to rent such a piece of "Pure Michigan" paradise!!"

  • Lakestone cottage

"Great little cottage on the water. Absolutely loved the private dock and how quiet it was in the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to get away for a quiet weekend! The cottage had everything we would possibly need from cooking utensils to bathroom amenities."

  • Traditional cottage feel with all the amenities of home

"We had a very pleasant stay in this cozy, clean cottage for a relaxing vacation. The owners have done a great job to assure that everything you need is at hand. The dock was handy for our small fishing boat. However, if you have a larger boat, it doesn't extend far enough to tie up, so you'll have to moor it in deeper waters. The mayflies had just hatched, so the fishing wasn't great, but the view of the lake is so beautiful, and the drive around the west side of the lake is breathtaking that just enjoying the view was enough. Three wineries are within a very short drive, one (Bel Lago) is a decent walk if you are ambitious enough to climb the hill. Chateau Fontaine was our favorite, and definitely try Martha's Table in Suttons Bay. The Northern Distillery is also a good stop in the village of Lake Leelanau, and we always stop into Dick's Pour House for a Plevalean burger. Much has changed since we last stayed in the area, but the lake itself and beautiful views are just the same. Felt like going home!"
