  • Wonderful Getaway

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Blue Shutters! The moment we walked in we felt so comfortable. The interior is tastefully decorated in an inviting manner. Everything was clean. The kitchen had all we needed. The beds were comfortable. We loved being in the woods and overlooking Green Lake. We had an extremely relaxing time and would love to return!"

  • quick get away

"We decided to get away for the Memorial Day weekend and called to see if they had availability. They had a beautiful cabin with a wonderful view of the lake. They had a small boat we rented and fished a couple of days. We enjoyed a fire by the lake. You couldn't ask for any more secluded but still have all the comforts of home. The cabin was well supplied with everything we needed to cook and wind down. The cabin looked to be newly updated and the entire grounds were well kept up. You can tell Mark and Deb take great pride in there property. Definitely a must do again."

  • Amazing place for a family vacation

"My family and I have stayed here twice. Once in the winter and again in the summer. We've had a great time both occasions. The pictures seriously don't do it justice. The swimming for kids is great because of the sand bar, especially for little ones. The house is very clean with practically everything you need besides groceries. Bellaire is a wonderful town with cute shops and Short's brewery which was a big hit with my husband. We did a few day trips to Charlevoix and to Sleepy Bear Dunes which was perfect with our little ones. The family that owns it has been great to work with. If we did run into anything they were just a phone call away and very helpful. I would recommend this to any family or even a group of friends who are looking for a relaxing week next to a peaceful lake."
