"Lots of space inside with plenty of room for a family of four (and the in-laws visiting for a few days.)
Great location, walk to town, depot beach, lake Michigan, etc.
Bikes, gas grill, sports equipment, cable, WiFi, porches, fire pit, large dining room, 2 full baths, etc.
Been coming here once or twice a year for a decade, cannot beat the value.
Owner is super cool and very professional."

"This is a great rental property! There is a master bedroom on the main floor with master bath, family room, dinning room table and a full kicthen with anything you need for cooking or bbqing. There is a television, which we were not sure about until arrival. We do not go on vacation to watch tv, but it is nice to have on rainy days if you have children. Upstairs, there are 2 more bedrooms, 1 has a queen bed and the other has 2 twins. There is another full bathroom up there as well. There is also a half bath on the main floor and basement with washer and dryer. Bath towels and bed linens are provided, which I love because that means I don't have to pack all that bulky stuff along with everything else in my car. You will need to bring beach towels...which is to be expected. We stayed here with another family and there was plenty of room.
The house is VERY clean and well cared for and is in a great location. It is just down the street from Empire Beach and the Empire Bluff Trail. 10 minutes (or less) from Sleeping Bear Dunes, 10 minutes to Glen Arbor and 10-15 minutes to Platte River. About 40 minutes to Leland and 30 minutes to Traverse City...very central to all of those things.
Dealing with the owner was pleasant and easy. I would stay here again! Loved it here!

"I spent four days at this chalet in the woods near Cross Village. It is a wonderful, tastefully decorated place with a complete kitchen. The weather was a bit cold and windy but I was very comfortable in the cabin. A soft easy chair made for a fine place to read, listen to music, and write in my journal. I had one Polish dinner at Legs Inn and enjoyed a couple of delicious pot pies from Good Hart General Store. One lovely, hilly hike on the North Country Trail in Wilderness State Park was a good way to enjoy the fall colors. But returning back to this special A-frame was always special. I hope to return for another visit. This would be a great escape for couples or a solo like me."

"Wonderful place. Spent a couple of nights with some friends on my wife's 40th and this place was awesome. Very well taken care of, all the appliances and utensils that you could need, heated tile floors in bathrooms and kitchen.(a surprising perk) Very roomy. We even saw eight...EIGHT bald eagles dancing in the 30mph wind and lake effect snow out of the huge front windows. Very close to a couple of ski places, though we did not take advantage of it. Our friends are considering a longer stay with kids sometime in the future. Harbor Springs is a beautiful downtown about 15 minutes away."
