"our group of 8 adults stayed here for a weekend while riding the little traverse wheelway trail. What a delight to arrive and find such a clean and inviting house for us all! Lots of room and everything you need is here. There is a large gas grill and a great fire pit which we used both nights. Thanks to owner Carl for supplying us with all the firewood we could use. We enjoyed hanging out here so much the second night we chose to come back to the house after riding all day and just relax around the fire. And watch the MSU game on the big screen downstairs! It really was the perfect place for us and I could have stayed another week.
Also thanks to Mardelle, Carl's wife who made the whole rental process easy and stress free.
Our entire group would definitely stay here again and would encourage others to do so too!"

"Our family of 6 adults and 2 small children spent the worst weather week of summer in the best place. If you have to be stuck inside because of cold rainy weather, this is the place to be. It is so well equipped for adults and children, tv's, games, books. The small children did not even touch the toys we brought along. This place really is cozy and feels like your own home. We loved it! The deck and dock and firepit were favorites when it actually stopped raining. The rain also gave us an excuse to visit the nearby casino probably more than we should have."

"Stayed here for a weekend, for a wedding we were attending in Bay Harbor. Not only was the place roomy enough for our group - 5 people- but it was only a 10-15 min drive to Bay Harbor. Place was immaculate, clean, up-to-date, and really cozy. During the day we sat outside on the back deck, and enjoyed the water (which was no more then 20 feet from the deck). As I said, we attended a wedding in Bay Harbor, but also enjoyed the short trip into Petoskey. Everything was local and convenient. I highly recommend this place!"

Beautiful Cottage In a Beautiful Part of the World
"This was our first visit to northern Michigan and we had a wonderful time. If you are looking for a place to entertain or just to relax after a day of exploring you will love this house. The kitchen is fantastic and has everything you need to prepare a feast. The beds are comfortable and with four bathrooms no one has to wait to take a shower or get ready. The house was built in 1886 and has been lovingly maintained. We really loved the side porch just off the kitchen with a nice view of the back garden. The kitchen addition with a vaulted ceiling is considerably newer with modern appliances. Really wish we could have stayed longer."
