"My husband & I have traveled using VRBO accommodations for many years, and can say without hesitation that this condo is one of the best we've experienced. Very clean, & tastefully decorated with many beautiful upgrades. There were plenty of towels in the luxurious bathroom, and the king bed was amazingly comfortable. The view was beautiful, and we enjoyed the Fall colors over the water. The owner, Harv, was easily reached & very responsive. The condo was quiet & comfortable, and right down the road from the activity of downtown Traverse City. We're certain you will enjoy your stay as much as we did!"

"This house was both beautiful and comfortable a combination you don't often find. Plenty of space for 8 adults, 1 teen and 5 children. The kids loved the family room and at times we barely knew they were there. The cook in me loved the kitchen and we ate every meal at the house. 2 refrigerators was a huge plus when cooking for 14 people. The huge dining room table allowed us to have meals together and the bar allowed us to set up the food and have people serve themselves. 6 bedrooms allowed everyone to have their personal space and 3 bathrooms with 14 people were great for getting ready in the morning. There were 2 bedrooms downstairs and 4 bedrooms upstairs. For us the best part was that each kids bedroom (a full over twin bunk bed) had a queen bedroom next to it for the parents. Sitting around the fireplace at night was a great place for conversations and storytelling about the days activities. We especially loved the up north feel of the house and the kids named the Elk head over the fireplace Bob. Our days activities consisted of trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire Beach, Grand Traverse Lighthouse, Leeland with it's Fishtown and Frankfort. But you wouldn't have to leave the Crystal Mountain resort area at all. The kids had a blast doing the Mountain Slide, the water park, the rock wall and the overhead obstacle course and zip line. There is an extra charge for those but if you buy the family fun card you get 20 activities for $159, which considering that the card can be shared between multiple kids we felt that was reasonable. There are free concerts several nights a week and the Michigan Art Legacy park onsite and they even sent a cart around to pick people up and bring them back to their homes. We also enjoyed watching the golfers, had a deer in the yard one morning and the kids loved hunting stray golf balls. I want to give a shout out to Ron the caretaker, who responded quickly to some questions we had and was very helpful and pleasant to speak to. The owner Brian also was responsive and helpful and answered all the questions I had prior to our arrival. My entire family including my parents, children and grandchildren all voted and they want to come back again next year. I couldn't give a higher recommendation. We will definitely be coming back."

"Awesome stay at the lake house. A tranquil and relaxing setting with the lake and small stream just outside your door...we couldn't of asked for a better place to stay to have our family gathering. There are a pair of loons on the lake with 3 babies...what a site to see and hear. The fishing was great! The paddle boat and canoe were an added plus to an already fantastic vacation. The house is huge but welcoming! We will definitely stay here again."

"Spent a great week at the house. It was clean and well kept with plenty of room for our party of 9. 4 adults, 5 teens. 25 min to the bridge, 45 minutes to Petosky. Beautiful view of the dunes and lake from the deck. Three floors so lots of stairs. 2 refrigerators, spacious kitchen, very quiet. The small beach behind the house was very private. Sandy 50 ft or so into the lake- waist deep water, then smooth stones some large enough for the kids to stand on. Wilderness state park was right at the end of the street. Maybe 100 yards from the driveway. Very relaxing time. Visit Leggs Inn, very interesting. We all enjoyed the food at Moose Jaw junction. Owner was very nice to work with."
