"Everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - was perfect. The home and its surroundings offered everything we could have hoped for. First off, I was a little nervous about the pool because I have a toddler. Immediately, I saw that not only was there a lock, but also an out-of-reach electronic lock with an alarm that could be activated to add another layer of protection and peace of mind. My son and his cousins could not have enjoyed the pool and hot tub any more - and the same goes for us adults with the sauna! The kitchen really is FULLY stocked. We cooked an entire thanksgiving meal with no problem! Having a bunk room for the kids was PERFECT because they could all room together and play with the games and toys that were stocked there. Every bedroom was well appointed and comfortable, the common areas were incredibly inviting, and the house was spotless. Many people visit Suttons Bay in the summer, but I have to say I think the winter is even better. With a fresh layer of snow, the town felt magical and the charm overflowed. We enjoyed a local little shopping, some food, and eased into some quiet relaxation. And a nice warm pool, hot tub, and sauna after a snowy stroll? Divine! Thank you for the best home away stay we've EVER had!"

"This was our second family visit to this beautiful home in a wonderful setting. We enjoyed bonfires, watching deer and chipmunks as well as day tripping to nearby Charlevoix and Torch Lake. The home is very clean, spacious and perfectly appointed. The amenities and social areas at the Lodge provide numerous options for young and old alike. We are looking forward to taking advantage of the ski-out setting with our children upon our return this winter!"

"We stated in early June and the weather was perfect. Beautiful views of lake Michigan! The house is well equipped and fit our family perfectly. The wood fired hot tub is the perfect end to the day with views of the lake. You feel all alone up north at this home. The sand dunes down the street are the perfect size for our kids to explore. The beach and cove are the perfect hiding place. We kayaked to the lighthouse and the tip of the peninsula, walked the beach, played on the dunes, and watched the sun set. Perfect place for our family vacation. We will be back."

"Really enjoyable week on the lake. Central location, close to all the up north attractions. Our group ranged in age from 3 to 73 and there was something for everyone. Plenty of activity tools (games, books, puzzles, toys, etc) at the house to keep you occupied in case of bad weather. We may return."
