"We were looking for a house to hold many family members for a wedding in Traverse City. We are so happy we found this home. It was perfect for our needs. Lots of room. The game room in the basement was a big hit with the family. The bedrooms are big and the beds are comfortable. The back yard was great for hanging out and for making s'mores. The store next door is very nice and has good pizza. Nice and clean. Tony was great to work with. Very easy drive to Traverse City, Beach, Wineries, and Shopping. We had a great time. If you are looking for a great place to stay for a nice vacation. Look no further. This is the place."

"My husband, 2 kids (12, 14) and I took a last minute trip. This was the first time that I had booked a room through an individual owner versus a property. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the owner was great to work with, email and texting, and the property is accurately described. The unit is very clean and well supplied. The unit is a lower unit, but is easily accessible by a walkway the wraps around and down the side. The only cons are that two of the beds are very firm and didn't agree with my RA, and the shower head is in need of an update. Because the unit is in the lower level, there are few windows and is very dark if lights aren't kept on.
We enjoyed the Boyne grounds by swimming at the Clock Tower pool (90 degrees!) and huge hot tub, chairlift ride, lawn games, and arcade. Stopped in for drinks one evening at the Pierson's Grille. Everretts for breakfast while good, was way over priced.
Off property one of our favorite restaurants is Sante Cafe in Boyne City. Once again they didn't disappoint. Petoskey is just a 20 min drive and I finally got to go to the Polish Kitchen (delish!). Petoskey State Park beach is beautiful. For another offsite adventure, my husband and kids enjoyed a trip to the Wildwood Zip Line located abour 15 minutes from the Boyne property."

"Sauble Point Farmhouse is a very nice and large vacation home that we felt gave us plenty of room for the 6-8 of us (plus our dog). It has not only lots or room inside but outside as well. The property's seclusion was an added bonus, especially with our energetic dog! We did experience a few minor issues with the house but Rose was right on top of making sure things were taken care of, either by herself or the handyman. Made a couple trips to Dublin Market (awesome store!) and to Manistee area to swim in Lake Michigan (only 1/2 hour away-note: dog-friendly beach out by Manistee water tower; take Washington St.), plus a stop at the farm market on the corner of 31 and 8 Mile/Freesoil Road for produce, baked goods and fudge! We called for firewood and it was delivered promptly by a very nice man, and week's worth (maybe more) of firewood was $30. Unfortunately we were not able to launch our 16 ft. boat into the lake since the private boat launch is pretty rustic. However, Bass Lake (about a mile away) has a updated boat launch so my husband didn't have to go far to go fishing. The rowboat had a slight leak but he did take it out a couple times to fish on Sauble Lake and the kids used the paddle boat. Navigating the hill to the lake was a little challenging to our twins who have a slight disability but the swimming was worth the climb. Water shoes came in handy since the bottom is somewhat mucky. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it to others."

"Really loved the area - Autumn colors in fulls dispay. Found plenty of things to do - almost overwhelmed by the possibilities. Enjoyed hikes at Pelizzaro Natural Area, Cathead Bay, and in and around the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park. Pyramid Point Trail was very nice.
Property nice although heating in apartment not very even - very warm in bathroom, while cool in living area.
Had opportunity to meet property owners and enjoyed getting to know them. Built a fire in pit near beach and they joined us and shared their experiences in the area
We look forward to a follow up visit to area."
