  • A True Vacation!

"A truly wonderful place with a perfect view of the lake! We had a family gathering, with family coming from various states, and were so fortunate to find this gem of a home to stay at for the week. The spaciousness was perfect - with 13 people, everyone had their own private room "sanctuary," yet when we were all together in one of the great rooms, it never felt cramped. Instead, it felt extremely relaxing, which is the whole point of vacation! There were four little boys under the age of five in our group, and this was probably their dream house! Lots of room to run and play, have scavenger hunts, play games, ping pong, hide-and-go-seek, water fights outside, etc. The kitchen was also perfect! So much room to move, even with five cooks at once! And the fact that it was fully stocked with cooking items/utensils made meals a breeze. The location could not have been any better. Easy access to downtown Boyne City, and quick drives to Charlevoix, Mackinac Island, Traverse City, Lake Michigan, etc. In addition, we found the trail down to the lake to be charming and beautiful. And of course, the little boys thought it was a great adventure! Danielle was a joy to work with - I would recommend her to anyone looking for a rental property! If we needed anything, she was right there to help us. I can't say enough positive comments about this property! We would stay here again in a heartbeat - this home should be at the top of your list, especially if you have a large group!"

  • * Up North Paradise in the Woods*

"We traveled to the cabin from down state. The secluded location was exactly what we were looking for. We found the cabin immaculate with the heat at a perfect temp and the hot tub steamy and ready for relaxation! We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and the many surrounding towns to visit! We will be back :)"

Wonderful seating area in living room overlooking Lake Michigan sunsets and Old Mission Peninsula. No issues no complaints. I will rent this place again."
