Recent Torch Lake reviews

  • Beautiful sunsets!

"We had always wanted to see Torch Lake and were pleased to find this property on VRBO. It has it all: lakeside beach, dock, deck, outdoor swings, woodsy out-of-doors feel and a charming "granny cottage". The owner is very organized with instructions, lists of places to eat and things to do, and responsive to questions. The cottage is neat, cozy & clean, with great spaces for gathering, and decorated with very interesting old books for the evening or rainy day. We rented a pontoon nearby and cruised Torch Lake and nearby Clam Lake--great fun!"

  • Unique ! Relaxing ! You wont be disappointed !!!!!

"Clean , comfortable , well equipped , charming , historical touches , sweeping view of the lake , beautiful yard and gardens ..... And to add , the owners are very accommodating and hospitable. The location keeps you in the center of Alden , to enjoy a leisurely walk thru the town , or enjoy the private back yard setting , dock , and view the lake. Alden is centrally located in general , to travel to other points of interest as well , and be back in enough time to take in a sunset on Torch , which are always second to none ."

  • Rental 185747 Chalet at Rapid City, MI

"Charming and secluded. Quarters were just a bit smaller in size than anticipated, but still adequate. Storage for personal items was somewhat lacking due to compact room sizes. One bathroom with six people was challenging but not un-surmountable. We did some traveling while in the area so it met our needs nicely. The fire-pit was nice and also the hot tub."
