  • Ski weekend (Downhill and Cross Country at Caberfae

"Our group of nine (4 adults/ 5 kids) were comfortable in the basecamp. Plenty of room and beds for all. The property is next to Manistee National Forest and is in a beautiful forested setting. It was ~20 miles from Caberfae via any easy drive for great skiing."

  • JUST PERFECT!!

"We were bringing our child to camp at the Interlochen School for the Arts and we found out about this cottage right nearby. Its less than 10 minutes away. Traverse City is a 15 drive. The cottage comes as advertised, its a rustic cottage right on Green Lake with a great deck to barbecue and watch the sunset. It's a quiet setting. Bring your own kayak and bike. (You can rent kayaks nearby, but we did not.) We found the home clean and well maintained for an older cottage. The place was perfect for relaxation. We didn't even turn on the 55" TV! Buds is the place to eat for a nice breakfast or lunch. Enjoy...relax and sleep well."

  • Great condo with a great location.

"We absolutely loved this condo with all the offered amenities. It’s housed in Traverse Commons, a destination in itself with much history. It’s a short drive to downtown and the beaches, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown. The pictures online do not do it justice. I’m assuming the owners have a background in art. You could see, what I believe to be their work, throughout the unit. Personal touches everywhere. We had two adults, and a 20 and 17 y/o staying in this unit. There was more than enough room for the four of us. Granted the 20 and 18 y/o took their own blowup beds, but there was enough room on the first floor to accommodate the beds. The second floor had a desk and area for reading and the third floor was utilized as the master bedroom along with master bath. The condo has a nice kitchen, an additional ½ bath on the first floor with a huge outdoor balcony. What more do you need? The owners emailed suggested restaurants, shops, etc. prior to our stay. We wisely went along with their suggestions. Trattoria Stella is housed in the Commons. We highly suggest a meal there. It was simply amazing. A bit pricey, so you may want to go for lunch. There are several restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, etc. on the grounds. I don’t believe you could go wrong with any of them. Would definitely recommend a stay there."

  • Great relaxing family vacation!

"We had a great time at the Cottage! 2 families (4 adults, 5 kids) had plenty of room. The lake front is beautiful and great for swimming. The place was very clean and comfortable. It is a little further from town than we expected so be sure to stock up on food because once you get there - you don't want to leave! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is bringing linens and towels is a little inconvenient; real estate in the car was very limited! Great house on a gorgeous lake!"
