"Our entire family stayed here for a long weekend--our grown children and their children--10 of us in all--and we had a blast! I was worried the home wouldn't be big enough, but it was perfect for our families. We all had privacy, a view, a hot shower, comfy bed, and great company! This home was spacious and warm with great amenities inside and as part of the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. We went skiing, snowmobling, tubing, skating, swimming, and dog sledding. Great memories. Thanks for sharing your beautifully decorated home with us."Guest: Chell Saint Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 2, 2014View listing
"we had a great week here at captain jack's place. the description is accurate and everything was clean, neat, and orderly. our 'chefs' loved the plancha, and we ate rather well that week, eating in almost every night. the second kitchen and bathroom was a nice bonus since we had a full house of adults. our ride out on the catamaran was smooth and relaxing. jack was prompt to answer any questions we had and address any concerns. we would not hesitage to rent here again."Guest: jan l. "We stayed here while attending our sons graduation from Interlochen Arts Academy high school, which is about a 1/2 hour drive from the cottage. Enjoyed the porch every evening looking out at the lake. The pictures and description is exactly as it appears. Very nice neighbors and surrounding areas. Lots of birds, squirrels, even a baby fox in the yard. Wonderful place!! Thanks for the great stay."Guest: alaskopolis Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 28, 2014View listing
"We were celebrating a 40th birthday with 8 girlfriends & everyone was happy with the accomodations. The unit looks better in person than the pics. Great decor, clean, well stocked kitchen, lots of linens & towels, nice furniture & lots of windows. Bedrooms are a nice size with queen beds but no extra room for air mattresses on the floor unless it's a twin. The living room has 2 twin size chair pullouts that we're comfy the couch pulled out as well. An aero bed is also available but you'll need to move the dining room table a bit to make room. Ground floor walk out level was convenient & there's outdoor furniture to enjoy a meal elfresco. The unit is located on the side of building (not facing the bay) & furthest from the water but still super close to the beach. Downtown Traverse city is 5 miles away & has great shopping & restaurants. The owner is easy to work with & local managers are available if needed. We had a great time & would definitely stay again."Guest: Rosie Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 18, 2014View listing
