"If you are looking for the perfect vacation home, this is it. The convienent location is right across the street from a great beach and picnic area. Having a small grocery store almost next door was helpful. And the house had plenty of room for 5 kids and 6 adults. Having 3 bathrooms and central air for our 2 muggy days was priceless. Nice backyard for eating outside and campfires. The refrigerator is large enough to hold lots of food, and the water pressure is strong and no well water smell! Enough dishes for all of your guests. The kids loved the ping pong table downstairs and there are lots of different areas to hang out in. We used the kayaks every day. Long Lake is beautiful and we rented a boat one day and you can temporarily tie up at the dock on the beach. And having a washer and dryer is also a nice perk! Meijers and WalMart are just a short drive away. We were just a 20 minute drive from Lake Michigan and lots of tourist attractions. The owners are great to deal with and were quick to respond to our questions. You will have a great stay!"Guest: Sunloving721 Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 5, 2014View listing
"My friend, Sandy, and I stayed at Restful Nest for a long weekend. Explored the area and enjoyed unusually warm late September. This property is 1/2 way between TC and Suttons Bay. Ideal location - quick into TC, but close to SBay and Leland and Northport. Great, numerous wineries in the area, too. The property was bright, airy, roomy, and very comfortable - even the sofabed. Kitchen was well equipped and we loved the large shower in the bathroom. Plenty of room for just the 2 of us. There was even a desk and wifi which I used to work a few hours before we started our day on Friday. Plenty of clean, fresh towels and hooks in the bathroom for us to use. Very, very comfortable - the best we have stayed at via VRBO in the TC area. Would absolutely consider staying here again. Sitting on the balcony, looking at the bay is just wonderful!"Guest: TinaV Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 29, 2014View listing
"We were celebrating a 40th birthday with 8 girlfriends & everyone was happy with the accomodations. The unit looks better in person than the pics. Great decor, clean, well stocked kitchen, lots of linens & towels, nice furniture & lots of windows. Bedrooms are a nice size with queen beds but no extra room for air mattresses on the floor unless it's a twin. The living room has 2 twin size chair pullouts that we're comfy the couch pulled out as well. An aero bed is also available but you'll need to move the dining room table a bit to make room. Ground floor walk out level was convenient & there's outdoor furniture to enjoy a meal elfresco. The unit is located on the side of building (not facing the bay) & furthest from the water but still super close to the beach. Downtown Traverse city is 5 miles away & has great shopping & restaurants. The owner is easy to work with & local managers are available if needed. We had a great time & would definitely stay again."Guest: Rosie Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 18, 2014View listing
