"Our family of 6 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs spent a week at this lovely home and had a wonderful time! The pictures don't do the house justice. The living room is larger than it looks, the lower level has updated furnishings since the photos were taken, the kitchen table is new and HUGE, really happily surprised by how nice everything was. House was spotless when we arrived. Appliances are new and fancy. The yard is huge. Our 8 year old loved fishing off the dock and caught tons of fish. The sand was clean and there's plenty of it for play time. We were skeptical because of the lack of online reviews, but there is a guest book in the house FILLED with positive feedback from renters. Highly recommend this property. Great location with easy access to downtown. Only one suggestion for the owner: A grab bar in the main floor shower to make getting in and out easier for the older folks. Otherwise we have no complaints and will probably be back next summer!"

"We loved this cabin and our stay. We brought our 18 month old for the week, and really was just perfect. My husband took advantage of the kayaks and the peaceful lake, we read on the deck while the baby napped, and we spent our evenings grilling and enjoying the peace and quiet. This cabin is just close enough to everything - Sleeping Bear, Traverse City, all of the cute towns and lighthouses, but just far enough away to feel secluded and in nature. It's got all of the amenities needed (a washer and dryer would have been nice, but otherwise, this place has it all). We drove 13 hours for this cabin, and it was well worth it! Highly recommend this home for anyone who wants to be "one with nature" while still enjoying all the comforts of home."

"The house is a perfect home away from home when you don't have a Northern Michigan home of your own. The house is very clean and well-kept, stocked with everything you need (plenty of towels, kitchen appliances, etc). The 8 bunk bed room is like a big slumber party! We loved that they had kayaks/paddleboat for us to use all weekend as well as a bonfire pit. Another great feature, it's only about 15 mins away from downtown TC. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect home for our weekend away!!"

"Three generations just enjoyed a weeks stay at this beautiful home. We stayed with our daughter, sin-in-law, 2 year old & 10 month old granddaughters & our youngest daughter. We enjoyed the large living space, bedrooms were roomy enough for all. My husband enjoyed showing our 2 year old granddaughter the art of fishing. She was casting & reeling in her little sun fish. Grandpa says she's a born natural. Enjoyed the nice kitchen as it gets old having to eat out day after day. Lots of room inside for the baby to crawl about. Nice spacious deck out back. Hubby enjoyed his meals out there. A couple of us took advantage of the hot tub a few times. The pontoon paddle boat was fun for those choosing to use it. The two year old enjoyed walking in the water. Very shallow, making it great for little kids to splash & play. Saw a lot of wildlife: turtles, frogs, snakes, rabbits, ducks, geese, woodpeckers and the biggest crows I've ever seen. An all around good time for all ages."
