  • Very nice

"My family stayed for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the unit. Very comfortable and a nice homey feel. We had 4 adults and 1 two year old and it worked perfectly. Owners were very helpful."

  • Pleasant week in Frankfort in this great condo

"I highly recommend this property for a vacation rental. It's location in downtown Frankfort is an ideal location for a relaxing stay. There are a couple of nice restaurants just across the street and a movie theater and ice cream shops very close by. Just a short two block walk and you are on a Lake Michigan beach. Our two teenaged sons absolutely loved the place. The owner was very helpful and the property was very clean and well maintained. Our only complaint is we were on the second floor and a family with small children were in the unit above us. At times it sounded like they were hosting a children's soccer tournament up there. We did complain to the owner and she must have asked them to tone it down because it wasn't too bad after that. Overall we would rent it again but I would try to get the third floor unit."

  • Great home, AWESOME location!

"Love the mushroom houses in Charlevoix. Always wanted to stay in one. Finally got my chance. My daughter got married at Castle Farms and this was the perfect spot to visit Harbour Springs, Petosky and see some of Michigan's beautiful fall colors. The home itself had everything you could want in a home for kitchen use, bedrooms, showers, etc. There were 4 of us and we had friends over for dinner and cards and the house was plenty big for entertaining as well. Construction happening behind us interrupted our piece and quiet but we persevered. The basement laundry was not to my liking but it was nice to have a washer/dryer. Charlevoix itself offers great restaurants, shopping and sights. The people were wonderful. Would love to revisit again."

  • Great home!

"We rented this house with a group of other friends for a ski weekend in celebration of my husband's 30th birthday. The house is in a great location near Nubs Nob & Boyne Highlands ski resorts. There was plenty of room for everyone and all of our gear. We loved the larger gathering areas both upstairs & down, where we could all hang out together playing cards or pool or just chatting. It was certainly clean, well-maintained, and I would definitely recommend this place to others! We hope to be back next year ourselves! A few notes, though: -there was not a lot of toilet paper provided and the Trout Creek Condo main office will not supply it for you; I would suggest bringing a pack of your own. -the kitchen space is wonderful, but was not as well stocked as I would have thought. For example, I was making a big batch of pancake batter and there wasn't a bowl big enough for me to mix it all in. I'm also really glad I brought my big pancake flipper & my electric griddle! There were no seasonings besides salt (pepper shaker was there, but it was completely empty.) -the couple who stayed in the queen bedroom said the bed wasn't the greatest -the garage floor gets VERY slippery when wet/snowy -the shuttle stop for Nubs Nob might not be that far away, but it is down quite a steep hill -- we elected to drive ourselves instead of using the shuttle All in all, though, that's getting quite nit-picky! This place was great. Thank you for sharing your lovely home (and view!) with us!"
