"We cannot say enough good things about this home and location. After traveling to Michigan more times than we can count for our family vacations, we have finally found the spot we will come back to for our up north trips. The home is on point with a beautiful blend of style, comfort, and a touch of sweet rustic lake home appeal. You will immediately feel at home and welcomed as everything you need or want in a vacation home is ready and waiting for you. The location is fabulous on the "big lake" with breathtaking sunsets, beautiful water views and can you say blue? The water color and clarity is comparable to none. Fires on the beach with s'mores and your favorite beverage watching the sun set will become your evening ritual. While being private and not too close to neighbors, the proximity to town is excellent so your car can stay parked if you choose. Being just off one of Glen Arbor's main streets, it is so much fun walking into town for dining, shopping, kayaking, biking, and hiking. For the days when you do want to hop in your car but not go far for some more exploring, you are within very short drives to the Big and Little Glen Lakes, Sleeping Bear Dunes, the cities of Leland, Sutton's Bay and Empire. Did I mention fishing? Bring your boat or rent one here. So many options and lakes that produce great results! We had a fabulous vacation in this lovely home, so much so we wish we could have stayed even longer! We can't recommend a better place to stay."

"Despite Thursday and Friday were the coldest days of the year (Thursday night was -27F no joke) the cabin kept everyone very happy and warm! The sleeping arrangements were very nice, we slept 8 adults so we used the childrens room also and put an air mattress in it that way each couple had their own room!! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. We also went for dinner and drinks at Shorts Brewery which was amazing! Some went skiing, some went to the gym and spa at the resort and some found a bar stool at the "The Shanty"! We truly just love this area - everything you need is within a 5 min drive and such a fun place to vacation!"

"What a wonderful two weeks, we spent at least 5 nights at Esch Beach just watching the beautiful sunset's over Lake Michigan. Nice end to relaxing day. We spent time in Manistee seeing the harbor, eating lunch and looking thru so many Antique Shops. Then topped if off with the House of Flavors Icecream. If you haven't been to Glen Arbor, next time don't miss it. What a beautiful little town. If your hungry go to Art's and have a bacon cheese burger. You may have a wait, but is well worth it. Also the original Cherry Republic Store is there. A must stop, and a good place for Michigan gifts to take back home. We did something different every day and had a wonderful time. Sleeping Bear has to be my favorite place just for it's beauty, a must see. Knowing that every evening you could come back home to the cottage and feel right at home. Enjoy the hot tub or just sit out on the swing and listen to the pines, roast a few marshmallows, or challenge your mate to a game of pool. The Wayberry Cottage has it all and more. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. We try to make it up there every year just because it's the perfect place to go and relax."

"This was an amazing rental house for our family which included multiple ages and interests!
We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, firepit, proximity to area attractions and necessities!
It was an easy place to relax, with plenty of space for three households to spend the week together under one roof!
The owners were friendly and responsive when we had questions, and made the whole process easy and enjoyable!"
