"The lake is nearly 2000 acres and had no other boating traffic (Even on the Weekend!). We enjoyed the walk out shoreline and having the state park close by we were able to use the sandy beach with our small children. The cottage was in close proximity to the sand dunes and downtown Travers City which was nice to go to for shopping and fine dinning."

"If you are looking for a nice, quiet house on a beautiful lake, this is the place to stay. The amenities are great. Our favorite spot was the bonfire pit. The bunkhouse is very new and would be a perfect place for children. Can definitely fit a large group between the main house and bunkhouse. Hope to end up back there down the road!"

"This was our second year at Pago and we love it. Very clean, well stocked, beautiful views. The owners are very accommodating and eager to make tour stay the best it can be. Returning next year for sure!"

"Perfect rental home: clean, well-provisioned, spacious, comfortable rental property. No suprises, the location is accurate (we walked to the beach every day) and the photos are a true likeness of the rooms in the house. All the beds were very comfortable (no V dipping in the middle!) and the kitchen was very easy to work in. We were there in July so there was much more sunlight in the rooms than seen in the photos which was appreciated. We also really appreciated the mud-room, the large entrance room at the back of the house (not pictured) for leaving everything which was covered in sand.
The questions posed to the owner were promptly answered, she was always available, friendly and polite.
The Dunes, Leelanau wineries, the Franfort ligthouse, Beulah were all within easy driving distance of the rental. The easy distance to Lake Michigan meant we were able to really enjoy the lake - okay, it was july, so the water temperature was more than just bearable. The IGA grocery store in Frankfort was a godsend, well supplied with fresh meat, fruit and vegetables. And much better priced and supplied than the IGA in Onekema.
If ever we are in this neck of the woods again, we would definitely book a stay here."
