  • Decorator's paradise

"If you are looking for a lovely retreat in Harbor Springs this is the place! My family and close friends rented the condo for a week in August and it was spectacular. The condo is decorated perfectly and the view is amazing. It is located on the ground level which allowed our son's to walk outside and throw the football and play in front of a gorgeous view of the water. The pool and tennis courts were clean and in mint condition. The hiking trails were also beautiful. This does not feel like a rental condo. The space has been beautifully furnished and decorated which is what I look for when vacationing. I look forward to returning in the winter because it is so peaceful. Harbor Springs is minutes away where one can find great restaurants and shopping.Golfing was the primary reason for vacationing in Harbor Springs. There are excellent courses to be found everywhere. I should know...my husband has a four handicap! I highly recommend this condo. The owner is wonderful and so accommodating. We will definitely be returning!"

  • Pleasant week in Frankfort in this great condo

"I highly recommend this property for a vacation rental. It's location in downtown Frankfort is an ideal location for a relaxing stay. There are a couple of nice restaurants just across the street and a movie theater and ice cream shops very close by. Just a short two block walk and you are on a Lake Michigan beach. Our two teenaged sons absolutely loved the place. The owner was very helpful and the property was very clean and well maintained. Our only complaint is we were on the second floor and a family with small children were in the unit above us. At times it sounded like they were hosting a children's soccer tournament up there. We did complain to the owner and she must have asked them to tone it down because it wasn't too bad after that. Overall we would rent it again but I would try to get the third floor unit."

  • Fall color tour getaway

"We love Traverse City in the fall!! The colors are incredibly beautiful and the city is less busy because all of the tourists have left. This house is set back and surrounded by trees so it was a perfect secluded setting for a color tour week. The home was absolutely beautiful when we first walked in. There was plenty of space for all six of us- we each had our own corner of the house. We even had a small baby with us and could not hear him cry during the night. It was very nice to have a fully stocked kitchen and laundry available, the only problem was the fact that we couldn't figure out how to use the oven. We also could not figure out the heat very well but were able to get it adjusted quickly so that everyone was comfortable. Everything else was pretty self-explanatory and the owners had a very detailed list and directions for us. It was a very short trip into town- only 15 minutes from a Meijer, which was VERY convenient! We went out to dinner every night and tried all of the local (and not so local) breweries! We went to the Jolly Pumpkin, North Peak, 7 Monks, and Shorts (about an hour and fifteen mins away, but VERY worth it!) We also did some wine tasting; Black Star Farms and Chateau Grand Traverse are a must!! The local farmers market wasn’t very big because of it being so close to fall and the shops at the Grand Traverse Commons were pretty disappointing with the exception to Trattoria Stella for lunch- it was pretty pricey but definitely worth it! We were able to go fishing quite a bit- the Walleye fishing on Long Lake was amazing! The boat launch is a short trip away from the dock and a very easy in and out. Getting the boat up and down the driveway took a little skill though. The dock needed a small amount of work but held our boat for the entire week without any problems. The owners were great! They communicate quickly and efficiently. We did not have any issues while we were there that needed their attention. They sent everything we needed ahead of time and everything went off without a hitch. We would absolutely stay here again! It was such a beautiful place and within a short distance to the city but far enough away to stay out of the traffic."

  • One of our favorite places ever!

"This is the second time we've stayed in this cottage at Sutton's Bay. Both times we have absolutely loved every second of our stay. The cottage is immaculate and exactly as described. The private beach is lovely - a nice, quiet, sandy beach area protected even on the windy days. The Leelanau peninsula has lots to offer - quaint shops, yummy restaurants and gorgeous places to explore. The cottage is an easy drive to Leland, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, and the Grand Traverse Lighthouse in Northport - there's no shortage of things to do! We will be returning again!"
