  • A Dream Vacation for Our Family of Four

"There's is no other place my family wishes to stay for a week-long vacation. Our children, both under five, love the stunning sunsets, playing on the beach in a few steps, and dining outside. We have vacationed here on several occasions. It is well worth our seven-hour drive from Chicago. The home feels secluded in a beautiful patch of trees on Lake Michigan. Inside, the rustic meets contemporary. The classic A-frame has a beautiful fireplace and boasts modern kitchen appliances. I love all the little things that come in use with the home as well, such as a barbecue, bountiful kitchen gadgets, and both a formal and informal dining area. The two bedrooms on the third floor, which have expanded, are more than perfect for my children. All the beds are quite comfortable and the bathrooms are very suitable for children while being luxurious for parents. In regards to seeing the sights, this home is in a perfect location. Good Hart and Cross Village are a short drive north on the impeccable M-119. Harbor Springs is a mere seven miles south. We love visiting Turkey's for pizza and I'm sure once my children are older, we will ski at one of the nearby resorts. If you are looking for a family-friendly place to spark new memories, you have found the right place. We feel this home would also be perfect for a romantic getaway from the big city. Either way, be prepared to slow down and enjoy Lake Michigan."

  • Harbor Springs heaven

"First of all, it's a beautiful condo located in a wonderful area, both in town and looking over the marina. Nice rooms, great sheets and nicely furnished. The main inconvenience was the wireless. I had work to do and it was unreliable at best. We had to be at home for someone from the cable company to come by and that didn't help matters. Second, there was a miscommunication on a cleaning midway through our stay and the person who came (causing me to leave) didn't actually do the work throughly. Another cleaner came which was good but meant leaving again. The number of times we had to speak with the homeowner was unfortunate."

  • We love it here!

"We have a family cottage nearby. Whenever we are unable to stay at the cottage we book our stay at the Arcadia House Bed and Breakfast. This spring we decided to reserve the Carriage House needing additional space for another adult. It was perfect. If you are looking for a place near the beach that has rooms with privacy; this is it. If you are looking for a place with a great little kitchen and one that supplies your towels and bedding; this is it! If you are looking for a place that is immaculately clean and has a very friendly environment; this is it. We love it will too!"

  • Great place just needs a spring cleaning.

"We recently stayed at this home and it is an absolutely beautiful home and location. The only things I think would have improved our stay are minor compaired to the quality of other rental properties we have seen. -grass should be mowed to help cut down on mosquitoes -Towles were very rough until we washed them ourselves with fabric softener -needs a spring cleaning for celing fans and cobwebs on the very high ceilings -most screens have holes or are missing, with no A/c it's essential to be able to open windows (we were able to open enough to feel comfortable but could be an issue if more are damaged) -seems to be a power issue in the basement.. We couldn't get some lights or outlets to work. -Listing mentioned hot tub.. I wonder if there used to be one or if it is referring to the jacuzzi (bath tub) in the master bedroom. (?) As I said... These things really were minor.. We loved the house and the owner was very friendly when I talked to her. We would absolutely stay there again!"
