  • Great Lake View

"We stayed here while attending our sons graduation from Interlochen Arts Academy high school, which is about a 1/2 hour drive from the cottage. Enjoyed the porch every evening looking out at the lake. The pictures and description is exactly as it appears. Very nice neighbors and surrounding areas. Lots of birds, squirrels, even a baby fox in the yard. Wonderful place!! Thanks for the great stay."

  • Perfect Vacation

"Had a wonderful time with three generations of our family. As two generations enjoyed the Traverse City Cherry Festival, Blue Angel Air Show, Sailing, Fishing, biking walking the beach (several times), swimming, surfing and enjoying the Sleeping Bear Dunes. The other enjoyed the peacefulness, beautiful views (pictures do not do justice), family of deer (fawn, mother and yearling) that seemed to enjoy the gardens as much as we did. Thank you for a great stay."

  • week away in August

"My husband and I came here for a getaway in August. We love the Leelanau area and like to come up and travel around the entire area. The lovely cottage is not too far off the beaten path and it is very well taken care of on the inside. And the country roads are so fun to drive around on you get used to it quickly. My husband loves to fish and had great luck the few times he went out using the row boat available at the cottage - perch, bass and blue gill. It is my fault for not inquiring but the steep hike down to the lake (although even steeper returning - lol!) caught be my surprise. We had brought our kayaks but one of them weighs over 70 lbs and we did not think it would be wise to attempt carrying it down the steep hike or back up. Perhaps if you have a 4x4 truck it would be doable? The home is stocked with everything you could need - fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, satellite TV, lots of games and books to peruse. The owners did a fantastic job making it a warm and inviting home. We hated to leave. Leelanau County is truly a gem. Not to be missed: swimming at Christmas Cove in Northport, breakfast at Martha's (Suttons Bay) and dinner at 9 Bean Rows (also Suttons Bay) and always, Fishtown!"

  • Labor Day weekend stay

"We had a wonderful stay at the Abbey Road House! We really enjoyed ourselves. We were very comfortable at the house as it is very well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed many of the options that Crystal Mountain Resort has to offer. The only recommendation we would make is to upgrade the bed size to queen sized mattresses. My husband is 6"4" and found the bed a tad small. We would highly recommend this house and look forward to staying there again!"
