  • A fabulous family and freind summer reunion!

"We returned to Cedar Cove after 17 years with family from Northern California. This time everyone of the kids are in their 20's! Friends of our children and a few parents also came from Mexico City and the Dominican Republic. It was a fabulous family/friend summer reunion!! This time our dog joined us. She loved swimming and jumping off the dock for her ball. She never stopped. The dock is also excellent for mooring boats and nicely protected! We made some amazing meals, had great beach camp fires and laughed a lot! Thank you for helping us create memories we will keep with us forever . . Cedar Cove hope to see you again soon!"

  • Perfect family getaway

"We spent a week at this lovely home on the beach of Lake Charlevoix with our children and grandchildren. The home is beautiful and gracious, providing three levels of bedrooms, baths and living space, which allowed both for privacy and togetherness. The sandy beach is perfect for young children and the dock provides access to the lake. The location is close to town, but not walkable. The home is well maintained and equipped - we hope to come again!"

  • Excellent Escape in Northern Michigan

"We had a great time at the cottage. The cottage was well maintained and clean upon our arrival. The owner met us there to show us around and make sure we knew how everything worked. We appreciated the updated kitchen and bathroom and found the kitchen suitable stocked the few times we decided to cook. The large patio area was great. It was also really nice to have internet and cable on the one day it just wouldn’t stop raining. The cottage itself is just off a main road tucked away with 4-5 others cabins/houses. All the properties are very close together but we never experienced any issues and all the neighbors were very friendly. The cabin doesn’t have an amazing lake view but it is still very picturesque and there is lake access (including a dock) for fishing and boating. There is also a beach about a five minute drive down the road. Our favorite part of the cabin was that it was central to everywhere we wanted to go. During our stay we managed to visit Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, and Mackinaw Island along with stops in the smaller towns in the area. If you’re looking for a “home base” that allows you to explore Northern Michigan this would be a great pick. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to come back in the future."

  • Great family value

"My family has stayed at boyne mountain for several years but with growing teens we wanted more space to "hang out." This home is a gem of a find; and is Stocked with board games, a blender for shakes, and cable television. The local family fare grocery is a minute away and has a Starbucks. We ate at a great local Latin American restaurant: I recommend the house margarita and quinoa burritos. And we enjoyed shopping downtown boyne city at the tea shop. My teen boarders enjoyed the challenging terrain parks at boyne highlands. We got the flexible pass off liftopia. We were rained out of a second day of skiing and ventured into petoskey for a movie and shopping. The home was the perfect spot to spend Christmas with our three teens. I Highly recommend this home for any vacation time. The owners were also very accommodating and easy to communicate with via email and phone."
