"Yes, it was a beautiful view of the lake, saw a Great Blue Heron out on the dock. Brent & Mary were very friendly & accommodating. A must see would be the Hidden Lake Gardens, we went on the driving trail through the trees and around the courtyard grounds, unique scarecrows were all along the trail. Cherry Creek Winery was also a 'must see'. Drove by the Buffalo Ranch on Roundtree Road, west of where we were staying, saw a few Buffalo on the property enclosed by a fence, (not like they were 'roaming free' in Wyoming). Bone Island Grille is a good restaurant, good burgers and a tasty Wet Burrito, Artesian Wells is another good restaurant, displaying a variety of motorcycles. Beautiful rolling green hills, felt like we were 'up-north' but we were 'down south'. Good possibility that we will return in the future."

"We have gone to Wampler's Lake for the last 8 years and plan to do so for many more. Our three children and their families all stay with us and enjoy the beautiful sunsets, beach and everything else about this cottage. There are many games and toys the kids can play with and plenty of life preservers for those that need them. We have so many wonderful family memories and can't wait to have more. This is the best place to have a family vacation!"

"My husband, adult daughter and I spent 4 days in this lovely home in a rural area about 45 minutes from Ann Arbor. Set on the lake, the house has a lovely sense of both open space and coziness. We arrived for Thanksgiving day dinner, and I was easily able to make a full dinner in the kitchen. The house was very clean, a little rustic outside, but well maintained inside. Plenty of blankets, linens and towels. And it is the first house I have ever rented where I wanted to steal half the books. (I didn't of course :) ) We relaxed and read all weekend. If the weather was warmer, we would have been on the lake in kayaks, as it was, we were satisfied with walking and jogging. We would definitely use this location again if the occasion arose."
