"I am a fan of Wright's work and this house is generally accepted as one of his best. For architectural aficionados, this is a must. Even if you are not, this house will blow your mind and allow you to envelope yourself with nature and serene peacefulness. The private garden, the teahouse, are all part of the amazing setting. You are going back in time to the 1950's. And with world class restaurants a short drive away, you don't need to cook. It was a privilege to stay in this house."

"This was the second time we stayed at this property. This time we were able to utilize the pontoon boat and loved it. We were looking for a nice, relaxing weekend and we got it! The property is very well kept, the house is clean and nicely decorated. We had a great time fishing the lake and if you don't want to clean and cook the fish you catch you can drive 5 minutes for the best all you can eat walleye at the Artisan Wells restaurant. Then come back and do more relaxing in the hot tub."

"My husband had his 40th high school reunion in Adrian so I booked this house for 4 nights prior to his event. We flew in from California and the owner met us there when we arrived to give us a quick tour and information. She was very nice and helpful and the neighbors were super friendly. Our family was more than pleasantly surprised to find our house to be extremely comfortable and roomy. There are 3 queen beds, 1 twin, 1 daybed and a pull out sofa. The bathrooms are spacious, especially the downstairs one with the jet bath tub. The rooms are decorated cottage style. There are plenty of soft, fluffy white towels and all the linens are provided and the beds are set up prior to your arrival. There is a dual washer and dryer in the upstairs bathroom which is very convenient. The kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much everything you need. The fridge is large and roomy for your cold food. The grocery store is maybe 15 minutes away in the center of town. The outdoor area has seating for about 10 people on a very large deck that also has a campfire for smores in the evenings! There is a play yard for kids in the front. The BBQ grill worked perfectly. I must say our family spent a lot of time outside with friends and family. My 2 girls ages 7 and 11 really enjoyed their stay here catching fireflies or more like chasing them and going to the lake to swim, kayak, or fish. It is a short walk down to the lake but my mother-in-law is disabled so we were able to temporarily drive her there to sit at a nearby bench to watch the girls play in the water. The sunsets were magnificent on Vineyard Lake. The owner is great at communicating. I couldn't figure out how to get dishwasher to work and she responded right away to my texts and with her helpful hints, it worked out great. There are a lot of nice touches to this home that shows the owner takes pride in her property. Very special place to make lasting memories! Our family will be back next year!"

Perfect for a large group! Great space for an event!
"This home has 5 bdrms and 4 of them have private baths . We came from Ca for our son's wedding in Ann Arbor. We had relatives and friends coming from Ma, Nj and RI to stay with us. What a great home and location to be in. We hosted a dinner for 70 people one night and were very comfortable with the large open common areas; sun porch ; outdoor porches; living room space . and the side and front lawns. The location is convenient to everything. The house is well stocked w plates, utensils...extra towels/sheets. All of our guests were comfortable and complimentary of the house. It is just a great space. We highly recommend it! As for the owners , they couldn't be nicer. They raised their family in this house and now run the Ann Arbor Bed and Breakfast overlooking the University that is also a wonderful place to stay. We originally planned to rent the farmhouse for 4 nts and then decided to add a day on each end .. Bob gave us a very reasonable discounted price for the end cap nights which was really appreciated! Thanks Pat and Bob! We love your fahouse and will recommend to others!"
