"I had a wonderful stay at the house. It was very comfortable and quiet with a great view of the lake. The fireplace was wonderful in the cold days of winter and the dock was very convenient in the warm days of spring. I really enjoyed this very restful place between long hours at the lab. It was very relaxing to watch the sunsets from a chair on the lawn, or simply fishing off the dock. The owner was very attentive to any needs of the guests or the house. He went above and beyond the call of duty for maintenance from plowing to mowing and paid attention to the details that made the stay fantastic. He was very reasonable during all our conversations and very accommodating. I would highly recommend the property for the great value and the owner for outstanding service."

"We had a wonderful week at the home overlooking Little Stoney Lake. This is a great property for large groups! The first floor of the house is quite large and open . . perfect for gathering together to share meals, visit, play games, etc. The kitchen is well equipped. The lot affords lots of privacy, yet is very close to the lake. Loved the access to kayaks, the paddleboat, fishing rods and other water toys. Owner was very responsive and caretakers were very helpful. Would definitely consider a return trip."

"My husband had his 40th high school reunion in Adrian so I booked this house for 4 nights prior to his event. We flew in from California and the owner met us there when we arrived to give us a quick tour and information. She was very nice and helpful and the neighbors were super friendly. Our family was more than pleasantly surprised to find our house to be extremely comfortable and roomy. There are 3 queen beds, 1 twin, 1 daybed and a pull out sofa. The bathrooms are spacious, especially the downstairs one with the jet bath tub. The rooms are decorated cottage style. There are plenty of soft, fluffy white towels and all the linens are provided and the beds are set up prior to your arrival. There is a dual washer and dryer in the upstairs bathroom which is very convenient. The kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much everything you need. The fridge is large and roomy for your cold food. The grocery store is maybe 15 minutes away in the center of town. The outdoor area has seating for about 10 people on a very large deck that also has a campfire for smores in the evenings! There is a play yard for kids in the front. The BBQ grill worked perfectly. I must say our family spent a lot of time outside with friends and family. My 2 girls ages 7 and 11 really enjoyed their stay here catching fireflies or more like chasing them and going to the lake to swim, kayak, or fish. It is a short walk down to the lake but my mother-in-law is disabled so we were able to temporarily drive her there to sit at a nearby bench to watch the girls play in the water. The sunsets were magnificent on Vineyard Lake. The owner is great at communicating. I couldn't figure out how to get dishwasher to work and she responded right away to my texts and with her helpful hints, it worked out great. There are a lot of nice touches to this home that shows the owner takes pride in her property. Very special place to make lasting memories! Our family will be back next year!"

"My mother recently retired and had her 60th B-day. As a gift us kids wanted to give her what she always asks us for, but can be difficult to give/coordinate, our time as a family. With very little background we decided to rent the Hemlock Lake House. The Minehart family was so very accommodating and kind start to finish. The house was beautiful, clean, and very well thought out. Having the canoe and kayaks for the lake was so much fun as well! The entire family was able to relax and enjoy. We hope to visit again next summer!"
