  • A place to slow down and decompress

"The minute I walked into this lovely vintage cottage I was in love. I felt the stress just melt away as it seemed like we walked into a slower quieter time. We've rented many a cottages through the years and were usually disappointed by tacky decor and an overall junky look. In this one each piece of furniture and artwork seemed well-loved and purposeful to provide an overall comfortable and stylish atmosphere. My favorite spot was the comfy wicker chaise on the upstairs screened in porch overlooking the water. Each evening we played Scrabble at the country table on the downstairs screened-in porch to the sound of records on the vintage record player. Even on a Sunday in July the lake was peaceful with only a few boats on the water. My husband and son had a great time reeling in bass and snorkeling around the lake. The surrounding area has so much to offer. I took long walks along the country roads and picked gorgeous bouquets of wildflowers. Two darling victorian-like towns are nearby for shopping and lunch, Chelsea and Stockbridge. And the Potawatami Trail is great for hiking. If you want to get away from stress I would definitely recommend this place."

  • Awesome Graduation Experience

"Perfect home away from home for extended family during graduation. Home is beautiful and well-equipped. Enjoyed preparing family dinners in the well appointed kitchen and sitting on the fabulous front porch. A pleasant walk to Ann Arbor and U of M activities."

  • Great Cottage On the bay of Cass Lake!!

"The cottage was the perfect location for a group of friends to the spend the weekend on the lake. The cottage had a great dock capable of docking two good size boats. The location on the bay is a very short ride (5min) to the main lake. We had no problem sleeping 9 adults comfortably. The cottage had a nice deck with patio sets and a fire pit down in the lawn for an evening fire. There was enough driveway space to accommodate 5 vehicles and the owners were nice enough to let us park our pontoon boat trailer in their driveway. The owners were very responsive during our stay to any questions or concerns we had. The boat launch at the State park was also very close for convenience. We had a great time and would definitely consider to rent here again."

  • Family fun at its best!

"What a wonderful, well-appointed large cottage for our children and grandchildren to enjoy with us. There were plenty of beds, EVERYTHING you could possibly need for summer vacation. The deck furniture was top rate and the water was perfect for the little ones. We enjoyed the portable firepit for smores. Best of all, the bowling ally long table - which we truly filled! Thank you so much. We very much appreciated such a nice place."

Pinckney Travel Tips

The Perfect Plan: Pinckney Vacation Rentals

You don't want a couple of days rushing to a beautiful location, only to have to turn around again right away. You want a place where you can really spend some time. You want a place where you can unwind and explore the area, and you don't want to be rushed. Sometimes, the problem is your budget. Hotels have high prices, and without a kitchen or normal "home basics," your bill for food can add up quickly. Luckily, vacation rentals make the perfect Pinckney lodging.

Pinckney Lodging Gives You More

Offering more amenities than luxury hotels, it may surprise you that these beautiful Pinckney vacation rentals are actually much cheaper for longer stays, or when traveling with groups. Whether you're renting one of the Southeast Michigan lake houses or a cottage tucked away in the forest, your vacation will see an increase in privacy and beauty as well as a decrease in budget. Many of these rentals put you steps away from the waterfront. Stunning views, easy access to various natural hideaways, and a feeling of peaceful seclusion await you at your Pinckney lodging.

Exploring Pinckney

In addition to the scenic views that you can enjoy with Pinckney vacation rentals, you can have fun boating, swimming, hiking, fishing, and more in the area. This region is famous for having colorful trees in autumn, but there are activities all year round. With a wide array of festivals, a Saint Patrick's Day parade, the "Art in the Park" and "Hootin' in the Park" events, and more, there is no shortage of things to do on your vacation. There are nearby recreation areas, golf clubs, and Lakelands Trail State Park. You'll find plenty of activities within minutes of your Pinckney lodging.
