Magical Wedding Location
"This beautiful home was the location for our lakefront wedding! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot to say, "I Do!" Robert and Marian were more than helpful. They made sure the house looked wonderful and helped with the planning of our special day. Boats ventured up during our ceremony to look on as we exchanged vows, and many offered a "toot" of their horn as we were pronounced husband and wife. After the ceremony, our friends and families shared in our special day with a backyard barbeque. We received much praise from our guests about how perfect our location was. Many said this was the best wedding they had ever attended!! Our week continued after our magical wedding with beautiful morning views and daily trips out on the boat and kayaks. We swam, fished, kayaked, went boating, and shared countless family memories during our stay at this beautiful home. We are looking forward to our return trip to this home!"

"My husband had his 40th high school reunion in Adrian so I booked this house for 4 nights prior to his event. We flew in from California and the owner met us there when we arrived to give us a quick tour and information. She was very nice and helpful and the neighbors were super friendly. Our family was more than pleasantly surprised to find our house to be extremely comfortable and roomy. There are 3 queen beds, 1 twin, 1 daybed and a pull out sofa. The bathrooms are spacious, especially the downstairs one with the jet bath tub. The rooms are decorated cottage style. There are plenty of soft, fluffy white towels and all the linens are provided and the beds are set up prior to your arrival. There is a dual washer and dryer in the upstairs bathroom which is very convenient. The kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much everything you need. The fridge is large and roomy for your cold food. The grocery store is maybe 15 minutes away in the center of town. The outdoor area has seating for about 10 people on a very large deck that also has a campfire for smores in the evenings! There is a play yard for kids in the front. The BBQ grill worked perfectly. I must say our family spent a lot of time outside with friends and family. My 2 girls ages 7 and 11 really enjoyed their stay here catching fireflies or more like chasing them and going to the lake to swim, kayak, or fish. It is a short walk down to the lake but my mother-in-law is disabled so we were able to temporarily drive her there to sit at a nearby bench to watch the girls play in the water. The sunsets were magnificent on Vineyard Lake. The owner is great at communicating. I couldn't figure out how to get dishwasher to work and she responded right away to my texts and with her helpful hints, it worked out great. There are a lot of nice touches to this home that shows the owner takes pride in her property. Very special place to make lasting memories! Our family will be back next year!"

Fantastic home and location for a special birthday celebration
"We stayed in this beautiful home for a celebration of a special birthday with our sons and their wives. The house is in fantastic condition and super clean, with a well-appointed kitchen, media room, comfy sofas and fireplace, plenty of internet access. We walked into town for dinner at the Blue Tractor (super!); drinks, groceries and breakfast at Babo; explored by foot along the river through the park system; sat in the rocking chairs on the porch and watched the Ann Arbor world go by. So much better than a hotel! All six of us agreed that it was a perfect choice and would come again. David was responsive, professional and friendly. Five+ stars indeed."

"This was the second time we stayed at this property. This time we were able to utilize the pontoon boat and loved it. We were looking for a nice, relaxing weekend and we got it! The property is very well kept, the house is clean and nicely decorated. We had a great time fishing the lake and if you don't want to clean and cook the fish you catch you can drive 5 minutes for the best all you can eat walleye at the Artisan Wells restaurant. Then come back and do more relaxing in the hot tub."
