  • The Perfect Retreat for Long Time Friends

"Cherry Street Retreat was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy South Haven. The house is much larger than we expected. The 6 of us slept well in the comfortable beds and appreciated the clean, updated bathrooms. The kitchen was very spacious with plenty of room for several cooks at once. We enjoyed chatting with coffee in the sun room and a cocktail in the cozy living room. The owner is a lovely person who goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. It really couldn't have a been a better place to stay. I highly recommend it."

  • Perfect Extended Family Getaway!

"Two wonderful weeks in this spacious family home on a lovely secluded lake in a beautiful area with our children and our grandchildren. We enjoyed many family dinners on the large screened porch, and early morning coffee listening to the birds. Everybody enjoyed fishing off the pier, kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming on what felt like a private quiet lake. The kids also loved the pool! A welcome retreat from the city, we enjoyed both the beauty and the bounty of the local farm country. There are plenty of charming small towns to visit within 15 to 20 minutes of the home. Nice country roads for biking; plus, we had plenty of options for golf within 30 minutes! The owners were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend."

  • South Haven trip

"The house provided everything that our family of five needed for a relaxing trip. User friendly kitchen, grill, bathrooms and living space. Short walk to Kids Corner playground and beach. There's even a wagon here to cart all of your things to the lake. Wi-fi allowed us to get a little work done as well."

  • Adorable House, Relaxing Stay

"My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend of exploring Harbor County. The location was perfect with just a short drive to Warren Dunes and St. Joseph. The screened in front and back porches were wonderful for summer night relaxing, and the fenced backyard was perfect for our dog. The house itself was cute and cozy, and everything was well-kept and clean. The owners did a great job of making sure we would have everything we needed, like plenty of clean towels and easy to find directions for the thermostat and TV."

Southwest Travel Tips

Southwest Michigan covers the counties of Berrien, Cass and Van Buren along the shores of Lake Michigan. This may not be the first place that springs to mind for finding sugar- sand beaches but this area does have some beautiful bays. It also produces some fine wines and fresh vegetables. During the winter, it is a fun place for skiing and snowboarding. In the summer, swap your ski poles for your golf clubs and enjoy some of the championship golf courses in the area. Those who enjoy a slower pace of life and local history will appreciate the museums and antique shops which can be browsed in this scenic area.

Stay on the Great Lakes with Southwest Michigan Vacation Rentals

Each rental home has its own individual charm and may have scenic views over the lakes or mountains of this delightful state. Rental homes have room for everyone, including the family pet and allow the whole family the space to do as they please. No fighting over one TV set or a single bathroom; choose a place to suit your needs. Larger vacation homes are ideal for sharing with friends and family, especially for holidays, family celebrations and Thanksgiving.
