"My family of 10 had a terrific stay. Swimming in the lake from the private beach or in the pool was wonderful. Beautiful sunsets, each unique. Gorgeous view either from the deck or from the bluff twenty yards away. Plenty of room for the little time we spent indoors. Kitchen was very well stocked with plates, cups, bowls, etc. Add to all this, wineries within a short drive --- especially Karma Vista. We spent the evening of the fourth watching fireworks go off up and down the shoreline. It doesn't get much better than that.
Great communication from the owner.
My entire family absolutely recommends this property."

"This is a great house! We had 3 couples and a baby, and there was plenty of space for all of us. Nice big open living room and kitchen, plenty of dishes and kitchenware. The dishwasher didn't work that great but no big deal there. Everything was very clean and put together when we got there. The large deck is perfect for a group to hang out, and the neighborhood is just gorgeous. I was concerned about the location from downtown but it is a quick drive and being a bit of out town was nice and quiet. The private beach was perfect, it is a bit of a walk but the scenery keeps you distracted. Would definitely recommend this house to someone looking for a secluded beach getaway!"

"The owner quickly responded to any questions I had. The main reason I'm going with 4 stars instead of 5 stars is due to the off-street parking. Getting in and out of the parking area with my sedan was difficult. It's low to the ground and often scraped when pulling in and out. I had to be very slow and very creative when pulling in and out of the area. If you have a truck or SUV it shouldn't be much of an issue."

"We had a wonderful stay at Ruthie’s Fun in the Sun. The kids had a blast swimming in the Lake. While the steps heading down (and back) from the beach were daunting at first, we got used to it. The main thing that made our trip so wonderful was staying at Ruthie’s Fun in the Sun. The cottage was welcoming, and enjoyable to just hang out in. The screened in porch was like being in a treehouse. We truly felt at home. Well, actually better than home. There were many spaces that had appeal and charm. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and anything you would need to cook. We all enjoyed meeting the owner.

I think Ruthie’s cottage is the lovliest place you can find in years. It has a lake, outdoor shower, a big house, and a nice relaxing room. I liked the leather couch. I liked the kitchen. It has a beach. And when i stayed there, i felt like i was on vacation because i was. Stay at Ruthie’s cottage.

I loved the beach, and the house was very great.I loved the house. I wish it was my house. My favorite room was the upstairs room. The outdoor shower was great, i never took a shower outdoors. The woman had a great game called shuffleboard. The rules were you had little things with sand on a board, and there’s numbers on each side, and you have to get on one two or three.
