"We had a fantastic long weekend exploring Saugatuck and the surrounding area, and having the Red House be our home base was wonderful. The house is large while still being cozy and felt like we were staying with relatives because of the decor details; the map wall is beautiful! The house has the most amazing natural light, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy your morning coffee and afternoon beer --- brewed by one of the many local breweries, of course. Having a french press was also a very nice surprise. The house's proximity to downtown is a charming five minute walk, which was a perfect distance for our newborn and our toddler nephew. All of our correspondence throughout the booking process was easy and Kate was always quick to respond. Book The Red House now!"

"The house is spacious with plenty of places on the main level to gather for games and conversation. The outdoor space is fabulous. The kids loved the pool, golf and play area. The tables on the deck provided the space for us to eat meals together. Our only compliant is that it would be nice if there were two bedrooms on the main level for the convenience of older people in our family who found the stairs to be steeper than they are accustomed to."

"We had 7 adults and 3 children ages 4 and under. We have stayed at 4 different homes in the Michiana/Union Pier area for the past 4 years. Three out of four of them have had pools. This was by far the best! The best outside space we have ever had! Tons of comfortable seating, outdoor shower w hot water for after a day at the beach, large outdoor table for dining. We also enjoyed building a fire in pool area. They have a pit in the middle of a table with comfortable seating around it. This was a great, safe place to do smores with the smaller grandchildren! Largest pool we have had plus a diving board, fenced in yard, swing set with fort for the little kids. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the kitchen island can seat 8. During the daytime, we are outdoor people. The beach was beautiful and very close and most of our time was spent in the yard. However, my husband and I love to unwind at the end of the day with TV. They have ALL of the Comcast premium Xfinity channels! I loved the landscaping in the front of the house. Very inviting and private. The largest gorgeous pines line the back yard. The property manager, Colleen, lives right next door and was very quick and knowledgeable with any questions we had. You might worry that having the property manager next door might feel intrusive but that is not the case at all. She was terrific! Don't bother packing beach towels...they have tons! We really loved our time at this home and would highly recommend it to others."

"This beautiful home is well maintained and exceptionally comfortable. It has everything one might need for a fabulous family vacation. The kitchen lends itself to preparing large family dinners, with two long tables in the dining room and breakfast room so that everyone can eat at the same time. We enjoyed playing games and just sitting and relaxing in the two family rooms that are beautifully furnished. The outside deck and backyard have a fire pit and a grill that we used to barbeque our meals and then make smores every evening. The house is just a few blocks from town and we took daily walks every morning and evening to shop, get coffee, and of course, visit Kilwins. The house has an ample supply of lovely linens, towels, dishes, glasses, etc. to make our stay as homelike as possible. We enjoyed a wonderful week and were so sorry to leave. But we certainly look forward to returning again next year."
