Very comfortable home
"This house is a great vacation destination, with close proximity to Diamond Lake and the golf course. The home is very well-equipped with lots of kitchen supplies, is very spacious, and has an amazing back porch. Thanks to John for making the rental very easy!"

"Spent a long weekend relaxing after a long tax season with myself and 4 other coworkers and had a wonderful time!! Kevin and Karen are wonderful hosts and made my first experience with VRBO a delightful one. Being on an island was amazing and the neighbors were extremely friendly, really felt like We were part of the neighborhood. The house was amazing, great architecture, clean, large open concept and nicely updated with all of the amenities you could want. The deck and the lakefront pier were amazing and updated as well. The views were perfect (still living on in our minds and on our electronic devices) the water was the cleanest I have seen around the area and the depth was perfect for swimming. With 5 accountants the potential to over analyze something was high; however, we found nothing bad about the entire experience, as the only negative experience was having to leaving for home!! Thank you again for having us and we have started a new tradition; therefore, we will be asking for your home again next year!"

Twenty-six family members + four mutts + two houses = one wonderful family reunion!
"We have just returned from a most fabulous family reunion at the Lodge and Lake Houses on Stone Lake. These were perfect accommodations for our family, which gathers every two-three years at large homes around the country. Between us, we hailed from Oregon, California, Colorado, Montana, Texas, Michigan, and Kenya to play together before our daughter's wedding in the area.
The homes were well equipped for feeding three generations and hosting family/friends dinners and a wedding shower. What we most appreciated about the Lake House were the different configurations of the bedrooms, the spacious patio, the beautiful character of the home with its gorgeous wood framing and molding, and the way the new AGQ complements the original part of the home. It was also very helpful to a have washer/dryer on site, a second full size refrigerator, a great fire pit, and lots of playthings (bikes, boats, and small beaches).
The pontoon boats and kayaks were well utilized and appreciated. Though we had a few rain days, we also had days for playing in the middle of Stone Lake and had several incredibly beautiful sunset cruises. We made excursions to Lake Michigan, Shipshewana, and Kalamazoo.
The only thing we would recommend would be the addition of some new towels for the bath and kitchen. Since the owners were very responsive to our request for high chairs, my guess is that this suggestion will also be well received.
We have absolutely no hesitation about highly recommending a stay at either the Lake House or the Lodge House."

"Highly recommend House #2. We recently stayed there with our 3 sons, a friend, and his son. The house was everything we needed and the cleanest rental house I've ever stayed in. As the only female on the trip, I'd have to say the master suite was worth the price of admission alone. My husband and his buddy enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and the use of the grill. The kids were really pleased with the private beach area, the fire pit, in the back yard, and the screen porch was the perfect place for all of us to gather to play board games and cards. And my 7 year old and I took advantage of the fact the wild raspberry bushes right next to the driveway were full of ripe tasty fruit. The neighborhood was very quiet and nice. We enjoyed walking around, checking out the houses around the lake after dinner. And four of the guys loved that they could walk right out the back door and head to the golf club house for 9 holes of golf. . .for only $5 each! That's unheard of! Would definitely recommend and would definitely rent again if we stay in the area."
