  • Perfect place for a weekend getaway

"Diamond Lake is gorgeous, and Bob and Judy's place is a great place to stay! The cottage comes fully stocked with whatever you may need--paper goods, towels, utensils, pots and pans, so on and so forth. Being dog-friendly was a definite plus in our books! The beds are very comfortable, and there are several sliding glass doors that offer a beautiful view of the lake and a lovely breeze. Bob and Judy definitely made us feel like family. When we had some trouble with the boat lift, they came out ASAP to check it out and made sure our stay was the best it could possibly be. Thank you for a great trip! We will definitely recommend this lake cottage to family and friends."

  • Comfortable, Functional, and Great Amenities!!! Awesome All-Sports Lake, too!!!

"Since 2001 we've rented this home approximately 10-12 times. We've made a LOT of great memories here, and we LOVE Diamond Lake (1,000+ acres). The home suits our family perfectly, as it would most any family. When our kids were little, the fence was ideal as we'd put padlocks on the gates so they could play without us having to constantly watch them, and we knew they were safe (there's a 2nd fenced area for pets, too). We appreciated 2 Full Baths, the appliances (especially the Dishwasher, Washer & Dryer), not having to haul bed linens and towels, the Sunroom, the Deck, Gas Grill and Bonfire Pit. You can put your boat in at the marina and drive it over for the week, or simply enjoy fishing off the pier. Although there are quite a few steps to get down to the house, once there, it's great to simply be able to walk right out to the water on a level yard. Even though I'm over 55, I didn't check 55+ due to the steps, but this is great for any age as long as they can do steps; same with disabilities, as long as it's not someone who needs a wheelchair. (Also, I don't remember the date we were there, so I just picked one.) If any questions, feel free to email me."

  • Perfect rustic cottage to enjoy a great lake

"We stayed for a few days at this cottage, which was adorable. It had a rustic great room with a large fireplace, perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake. Sleeping porch was comfortable and had great views of the lake. Sue, the owner, was very hospitable and thought of everything to make the cottage comfortable. The apartment over the garage was perfect for extra family to join us. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation on the lake."

  • Appreciation of truly wheelchair friendly house

"There are many fine things to be said about the Lake House. However, for our family the first and most important fact is that it is one of the few truly wheelchair accessible houses in the region. The owner put a lot of thought into making sure that the house "flowed" in manner that allowed our wheelchair bound family member to easily be a part of all of our activities. The second most valuable asset is the owner's availability and prompt response to all emails and inquiries. He even called and sent extra pictures in response to questions about the handicapped bathroom and whether it would work for us. Finally, there are the house features that everyone appreciates -- the large, well equipped kitchen, the dining room table that is large enough to seat everyone comfortably, the covered deck, the well equipped game room, and the quiet nooks and crannies. THIS IS DEFINITELY EVERYTHING THE DESCRIPTION SAYS IT IS AND MORE."
