  • Fun Family Vacation

"Our Family very much enjoyed out stay at the Sandbox. It is a very clean and well kept house. We enjoyed the wrap around deck, fire pit and of course the dune. It is a bit steep but well worth the effort to watch the sunset over Lake Michigan. We would recommend this property for anyone looking for a quite retreat or fun with kids."

  • Antebellum Estate....Heaven on Earth

"My sisters and I stayed at the Hunting Lodge at Antebellum Estate. We were very impressed with both the accommodations and the property. The kitchen was fully equipped...we didn't need the paper towels, dish soap, or dish towels we brought. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and extra blankets; and the bathrooms had hotel quality towels. The Hunting Lodge was nicely decorated and clean. Across the driveway, the owners have an area where 2 young goats and an alpaca are kept. We enjoyed petting them through the enclosed fence. Next to this area, we found a peacock and a unique breed of roosters who entertained us as they strutted around their enclosure. The back of the property is just beautiful. We were told the lake had fish; so we brought fishing poles and bait. We had fun catching bluegills and bass and releasing them for another day. There is an open roofed area near lake where we sat and enjoyed a glass of wine just absorbing the beauty before us. The owners had plentiful brochures on hand of the Coloma and St. Joseph area. We had a nice dinner at The Friendly Tavern in Coloma. St. Joseph is only 10 minutes away; and has a lot to offer. The wine tasting at 12 Corners Vineyard was fun...one of the best vineyards I had encountered over the years. All in all, the weekend was perfect. We definitely would return; and are considering a week stay next summer."

  • Felt like home!

"Just returned from a week in Saugatuck with our family. We loved our stay at the Shoebox Cottage. Everything was just as it appeared in the photos. The house was very clean and well maintained. Also, the owner was very helpful to us in planning this stay. We would certainly recommend this property. Be sure to visit Marro's in Saugatuck and Salt of The Earth in Fennville for great food. Virtue Farms in Fennville is a great place for cider tastings."
