"The perfect rental! Beautiful home inside and out, great location, peaceful setting, meticulously clean and well stocked all around, including laundry pair. Homeowner, Margie, was a pleasure to work with. Great spot for older folks, too - first floor master suite was perfect for the "seniors" in our family group.
With this home as our 'home base', we enjoyed plenty of beach time, (street park early in the day to avoid $9 lot fee), downtown area, harbor, Blueberry Fest, Kal Haven Trail, nightly sunsets, antique-ing, and day trips to Fennville, Saugatuck, Holland. Dining out can be a challenge in SoHa, so having such a great kitchen and grill available at the house is a huge plus, food shopping is a breeze.
Thanks, Margie! No hesitation whatsoever about renting here again! Highly recommended.

"We brought the family of 10 (7 adults and 3 children) to South Haven and chose this rental because of its location on the beach and nearness to downtown. We were not disappointed. Everything was clean and in working order. We used both the air conditioning on some days and opened the windows on others to enjoy the breeze. The house has two great deck levels, a large covered outdoor table for meals and views of the lake were tremendous. The kids and several adults spent most of their time swimming and the walk to the beach is short and easy. A walk to the pier was also a daily activity with much to do in that area. The gas grill provided was clean, ready to use and made some great meals. The kitchen and upstairs bedrooms were rather small and there was little indoor eating space which was a problem when the weather was poor as the rain did get under the awning. The views from the living room and downstairs bedroom were great. The other rooms had no view. One should note that while the actual beach area was small while we were there due to high water levels, there were much larger areas to set up just a few lots down from the home so everyone had space. The home is best suited for smaller families or groups. Parking was very adequate."

"The Butterfly Cottage was exactly what we were hoping for. The cottage was beautiful, contemporary but also with some vintage charm. It was within walking distance of downtown which made it nice to get up early and walk to Uncommon Grounds for a latte while visiting with the locals and their pets. The sunsets at Oval Beach are amazing! We did find the wifi to be a little sluggish and we had cable TV problems on the last night but Scott was eager to help."

"I recently stayed at Fishbone to celebrate my 30th birthday. There were 6 adults total for the trip and it fit us all perfectly. The deck was awesome along with the pool and hot tub. Perfect location to walk to downtown New Buffalo. One night we did walk to Stray Dog for dinner which is right on the water. Very close to the market and other restaurants. The cottage was clean and equipped with everything you need to feel like you're at home. Definitely will be back again!"
