"We had a fabulous time in South Haven. Roberta was very easy to contact and very accommodating. This was our first visit to this property, but we have been to South Haven many times. The power went out the day we arrived and she went out of her way to make sure we were okay and even offered to put us up in a hotel. Thankfully it came on late that night. We had nice weather for the most part and beautiful sunsets. The screened in back porch was wonderful. One day we just read, napped and enjoyed cocktails on the couch and relaxing porch swing. The access to the beach was so easy. The house is about 3 houses from the main road (quiet) which you cross and then walk down some steps to a small quiet beach. Roberta has a wagon which works great to get your stuff to the stairwell. The place is very homey and has easy access to the beach, town, and the highway. It is well stocked with anything you could possibly need. It was just my husband and I, but there is a nice yard and fire pit area that would be great for kids and a larger group. There are a couple of things that I missed (but not a big deal): a dishwasher, an ice maker and more counter space in the bathroom. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and very reasonable-I would love to be sitting on the porch swing, reading a good book and enjoying a glass of wine right now - waiting to walk to the beach to watch the beautiful sunset!!"
