  • Whispering Pines/Waya Rentals

"We rented the Whispering Pines house for a bachelorette party and had a total of 7 girls. There was PLENTY of sleeping rooms, the beds were comfy and the sheets were clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil, pot, and pan a group of girls could possibly need to cook a delish dinner, and we were a two block walk from a beautiful beach! I HIGHLY recommend using Waya Rentals for your next stay at Lake Michigan, and certainly recommend Whispering Pines."

  • Perfect place for little ones

"Tom, We just returned home from our vacation yesterday afternoon, 6/27. After we left “The White House” as one of my grandsons called it we went on to Schaumburg for horse racing and Ikea. I just want you to know that your “White House” was the perfect place for our family and everyone enjoyed it so much. With five little ones the layout of the house was great, one family made their headquarters the bedroom off the deck, the family with the twins took the master bedroom and it had plenty of room even with two pack n plays! My husband and I were in the cute turquoise room. We really enjoyed the lovely screened in porch, great for card games and kids playing with bubbles. The deck was a big hit for a family water balloon fight! I hope we got all the balloon pieces picked out of the yard! However the “best thing” was the lovely park across the street, the kids just loved it and they used the ball field for practice and the walking paths were used everyday. A family walk to Redamaks was perfect and on a trip to McDonalds one evening we saw a deer right down the street from the house. We did not even use the dishwasher as we brought a lot of paper products to use, so that was not a problem at all. The washer and dryer was a great plus too. Everything we wanted to do was so close. Thank you so much!!"

  • Relaxing family week

"Our family LOVED third coast cottage. We stayed the week of July 4th. New Buffalo is a perfectly charming American town suited for a proper Independence day celebration. The cottage was everything we hoped it would be and more! The generous-sized yard provided a backdrop for our two young boys and dog to play. The kitchen was a home-chef's dream! The bedrooms were spacious with beds more comfortable than any hotel. We felt right at home and appreciated all the details that the host had planned for, including games and movies, bikes, cooking spices, a grill, and his personal recommendations for eating out and entertainment. We walked or biked for everything we did in New Buffalo. But just a short drive away we also enjoyed the many wineries and Warren Dunes State Park. We will be back next year!"

  • We Loved it

"We have stayed at this rental on three occasions and it has become one of our "go-to" places. Last summer, my wife and I stayed, along with our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids; also with us were our son and daughter-in-law. It had ample space for all of us...including a screened-in porch where we could play board games with the grandkids, a spacious deck off the family room where we could bar-b-q and share meals, as well as just sit and read, and...my favorite...the rooftop where we could sit on the lounge furniture, sip wine and beer and share the stunning Michigan sunsets. It is so relaxing here, a place to share family stories, as the poet, Ted Kooser, writes, "...stories...a few that arrive at dusk...the open wings we light our table by." The rental is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, the beach and shops. We could even walk to church. It is tastefully appointed and extremely comfortable. We simply love it."
