  • Rustic Cottage on Lake Michigan

"If you like Lake Michigan and long private walking beaches, the Morning Glory in Fennville is definitely perfect place to be… We have stayed in the cottage 3 times already and still don’t have enough. I wish I can come back every summer to enjoy beautiful, unforgivable view from the bluff. The owners always welcome us with a very good local bottle of wine and much useful information’s about the area. We love tiny little Kismet bakery, where you can go on bike - the breads and baked goods are just amazing. Dee's Farm is another place I like to go every day and bringing back fresh fruits and veggies. There are galleries around (Glenn) where you can find interesting local’s artists work and of course Saugatuck, South Haven and Holland if you feel to explore little bit farther. For me and my husband and our two little dogs it is a best summer gateway ever, and very important - close to home where we live."

  • Amazing

"Don't get fooled by the pictures, it looks nice, once there it is ten times better. Can't explain how happy we were when we entered the front door. Nice and clean everything was there for our needs, and did I say it looks stunning. It was snowing during the weekend and the playstation, pool table and 100340034 different games were perfect for our afternoons. This is the best cabin I've even been, well I haven't been in other cabins before but I want to go back like every weekend. The hot water wasn't hot it was molten lava, this i not a bad thing it was perfect for everything especially the hot tub while outside was close to 0F. PS: The trash container is: Exit the front door, look left, and it is 200ft away in a rectangular shaped wooden structure. None of us were able to figure that out during the stay."

  • PERFECT!

"This cottage was perfect for our mom and daughter weekend! It's conveniently located to Saugatuck & Douglas. Wilma was so nice and provided a lot of great recommendations. We loved riding her restored bicycles around town! Only slight recommendation would be to provide a little better lighting in the cottage. It was a bit dark to get ready but we managed just fine :)"

  • Good time had by all

"Our family, grandma, mom, dad and 2 kids, 5yrs and 8yrs. Had a great time. The front and back screened-in porches was were we spent the early morning, meals, and evenings. The very clean beaches only 2 blocks away is where we were the rest of the time. Close enough to Douglas and Saugatuck if we wanted to go out to eat.Thank you."

Saugatuck Travel Tips

Find a Comfortable Vacation at Saugatuck Vacation Rentals

When you are looking at taking a vacation, the last thing you want is stress. So why would you want to stay in a hotel room that is cramped and doesn't give you the chance to have some "me" time? Being with your family is great, but it's also important to be able to go into your own bathroom, fill up a deep, jetted tub, and take a long, relaxing bath at the end of a day filled with family time. So when you're looking at taking a vacation to Southwest Michigan, look into a vacation rental in Saugatuck, where you can get a house with multiple bedrooms, an inviting living room, a full-sized kitchen, and large, luxurious bathrooms.

There Is so Much to Do on a Saugatuck Vacation

Once you've got your Saugatuck lodging squared away, the next thing to do is decide what you and your family are going to do on your great getaway. For golf lovers, there are two amazing golf courses in the area found at Clearbrook Golf Club and Ravines Golf Club. Putt the day away on the course while driving away the stress.

Out on the water adventures await on the Star of Saugatuck, a stern wheel paddleboat tour that takes you along the Kalamazoo River and along Lake Michigan. You'll learn a lot about the area as well as get ideas of what attractions can be found. There are daytime and evening cruises, but many think the sunsets on the water are to die for, so you might want to consider an evening cruise!

Southwest Michigan Lake Houses Have Picturesque Views

When you choose a Saugatuck vacation rental, you're choosing to have beautiful views and a comfortable home instead of a confined hotel room. And most vacation homes are actually less expensive than a hotel, so really, the choice is a no-brainer! Go to VRBO.com today and find a vacation home for your next vacation.
