"The pictures of this house do not do it justice! The house is much more spacious than it seems in the pictures...especially the basement which has a lot of room and high ceilings. The pictures are cropped a bit close so not to give a good perspective to sizes of rooms. The house is very clean, the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you may need including Keurig coffee maker, blender, dishwasher, iron, etc. All the upstairs had air conditioning available (which was a concern due to another review).
The laundry room in the basement is well stocked including detergent and tools that you may need (if you are handy enough to figure things out on your own). The sink downstairs clogged up but we were able to utilize what was available to clear it out!
The location is great! It is just a little stroll to the heart of downtown Saugatuck which has plenty of great restaurants and shopping!
The only negative that I can think of is that the ceiling fan in the top floor queen bedroom was starting to separate from the ceiling. It did work but we chose not to use the fan.
I would definitely recommend to large groups/family and would return in the future!"

"We had a wonderful week and will definitely be back. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities to make us feel at home. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. There is a washer and drier, a bonfire and gas grill. It was so nice to sit around the bonfire with kids at night and look at the stars.
The owners are very sweet and hospitable and it made our stay even more pleasant. There is a wireless internet but unfortunately it didn't work at the cottage which in a way was a blessing from the sky since we could not use any of our electronics except phones and had more time for family bonding.
Thank you Carol and Pat for your hospitality! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year."

"This was our 3rd year at the cabin, and my boys (ages 10 and 11) and I LOVE being there. The home is lovely, with every convenience and entertainment. It feels tucked away, but close to everything that Saugatuck/Douglas, and beyond, have to offer. Each year we find some new adventure to add to the familiar fun. The owner is lovely to work with, and very accessible if/when questions arise. No doubt we'll return in 2016."

"My family (34, 33, 6,4, & 2 yrs old) stayed here with my Mom, Aunt, and Grandma this August.
There was the perfect amount of space for all. Cabin was well equipt in the kitchen which is a huge plus. It was all very clean and nice. This particular cabin is directly across from the pool too, which is great. The pool was nicely landscaped in the middle of the circle and my kids said the water was warm. Not sure if it was heated? There is a nice big grill here too. And a fire pit, which was well stocked with nice logs. We spent hours on the front porch, perched on the lovely adirondack chairs, as well as in the back, around the fire.
At first we were weary when we noticed there was only 1 TV and it was up in the loft. As it turned out, that was the perfect break TV we needed. It was such a nice way to engage each other without the constant background noise.
I was a disappointed with the Goshorn Lake access. Yes, you have easy access to it via the boardwalk which is only a couple cabins down, however it's just that, a boardwalk with access. I assumed it was a small beach like access. However, if you have lake stuff to launch I suppose it's perfect for you!"
