  • Annual Doe Camp Trip

"Our stay was GREAT! The house was easy to get to. It was warm and inviting. Lots of room for all of us to be able to relax and have a good time. The rooms were spacious and clean. The house was well supplied with the necessities. The house was also just a short distance from a lot of things to do. On our first night in town, while at dinner we were told of the Interurban bus that would pick you up and take you into town for a small fee. It was great!"

  • What a nice place!

"I rented this for a family weekend away. It was our first visit to Saugatuck and we had a great time. The property was very nice and the house had plenty of space and all the needed amenities. Karen was very accommodating and gave us several excellent recommendations for places to eat and attractions to visit. We loved visiting Saugatuck and are looking forward to a return visit."

  • First Class, Exceeded My Expectations

"I recently toured this property for interest in hosting corporate events and learned at the time, to my amazement, that this spectacular property is available for vacation rental. It is definitely not a typical “rental” property. It is first class all the way both inside and out. What a great place to take my family for a week long stay and get lost in the nostalgia and feel of “small town USA” – the home and the surroundings feel more like the east coast of the USA instead of the mid west America. The home is in the heart of downtown Saugatuck which is one of the most charming towns in Michigan, all privately owned stores and restaurants (within one block of this exquisite home.) It is truly a step back in time, no corporate America. Although I have not yet held an event (or vacationed here) the tour was amazing and the property will be perfect for private board meetings, product unveilings, private receptions/ dinners and lively strolling soirees on the beautiful spacious grounds. The large veranda style front porch is charming for guests to socialize over a glass of wine or cup of coffee and the quiet serenity of a large private back yard with private back deck right off the Gourmet Viking Kitchen will be great for “grill outs”. I highly recommend this property for anyone that wants a first class vacation or private event. The tour of this property exceeded my expectations. I definitely hope I have the opportunity to go back."

  • Great accomodations with beautiful views and close to many activities!

"Our family of 4 stayed for just 3 days and two nights during the "off season". We found the unit to be VERY CLEAN and well appointed - everything that is advertised is there. Very spacious and comfortable. We were very close to many fun things to do even though it was not mid summer temps. Our older son attends Hope College in Holland and we were there for family weekend. But we wanted to do something other than the normal campus planned events this year. We did a nice long hike along Oval Beach trails and along the water. We walked the downtowns of Saugatuck, Douglas and Holland, all within 20 minutes drive of the unit. Also made a very short trip slightly north of Holland to do some kayaking which was fun and a very natural setting. So this unit is close to many activities year round. Also only a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the unit to Douglas Beach on Lake Michigan Shoreline. Since it was off season, the price per night was the same or less than most hotels - an absolute bargain for a really nice unit!! I wish we could have stayed longer! I would recommend this unit to anyone without hesitation."
