"My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend getaway in Saugatuck. Barbara and Selim's place was mere steps away from all the shops and restaurants in Saugatuck. The condo was clean and very comfortable and the hosts very easy to contact/communicate with. We enjoyed coffee in the sunroom watching the wildlife in the backyard. We also really loved biking around the area. Beautiful views and pleasant riding. We would definitely recommend this place to others."

"We just returned from spending Thanksgiving at the Red House. We had a great time! The house has everything you need to live there during your visit. There were 6 of us & there was plenty of room. We could have comfortably fit at least a few more people. The proximity to town is great, you can be there in just a couple minutes."

"My husband and I chose the Nutshell for it's pet-friendly headline. The space was perfect for us. As is mentioned in other reviews, the kitchen is fully equipped, which was great. The bed was comfy. Hot water was in plentiful supply. The little heater took a while to warm the space, but we got there eventually. If the weather hadn't been lousy, I'm sure we would have enjoyed the patio as well. My four star rating isn't on account of the weather, but perhaps because we were there so early in the season, we had an all out invasion of those ladybug-looking beetles every time we turned on a light, and when I flipped on the ceiling fan by mistake, dust from the rafters went everywhere. These are surely the travails of having been the first guests since October."

"We stayed over the weekend for a wedding we attended in town. I chose the home based on it's proximity to town, the fact that it was pet-friendly, had two bathrooms (one of us and one for the in-laws) and had great reviews. I was not disappointed.
The home is in a quiet, well-kept neighborhood that was enjoyabole to walk our baby and dog through. We were also able to easily walk to town for the wedding festivities (or anything else in town - restaurants, shopping, entertainment). The home is in great condition and a good representation of the photos provided online. All major essentials are there (coffee maker, towels, linens, an iron and board - even doggie treats and doggie bags!) and the bed was very comfortable. I believe it was a Sleep Number bed but we didn't even mess with the settings. The owner was also very pleasant/professional and responded quickly to any inquiries I had (pre- and post-reservation).
The only thing I'm unsure of is how close a major grocery store is for an extended stay. We traveled from Ann Arbor so we brought food with us. There are plenty of restaurants though and a small market in town that we grabbed a few things at. Also, you would need to drive to certain destinations (the beach, other nearby towns like Douglas or Holland, Saugatuck Brewing Co.!) but that was not a draw back to me.
Bottom line, we would definitely stay again!"
