  • Clean, Cozy and Comfortable!

"Highly recommend this condo! It was extremely clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the towels were fluffy, and the beds were comfy! The view was nice and the decks were fabulous (although too cold for us to enjoy) and the fireplace was a nice bonus. Appreciated the free wifi too. We booked this condo for a girls getaway weekend and we all had a fabulous time! Can't wait to go back!"

  • Three generation family gathering - Very special!

"This property was accurately portrayed and even more beautiful than photos show especially for gardening aficionadas! Lots of room for all our family to gather - inside or out for games, barbeques, or just to relax on the spacious front deck for the breathtaking views and evening sunsets. We could watch the July 3rd fireworks in South Haven right from the property's beach and enjoyed the July 4th parade in Saugatuck, both so close by. Also took the grandchildren to Holland's Dutch Village. Each town had farmers markets, music on the greens, and just minutes we were lucky to catch the town of Glenn's famous pancake breakfast that was yummy. Glenn also has wonderful homemade pizza and sides at their general store which we used to cater a huge family reunion and our grandchildren loved their town playground. We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather, gorgeous sunsets and many wonderful days down on the beach to collect rocks and driftwood, frolic in the waves of Lake Michigan and walk the shoreline. Evenings by the fire pit roasting hotdogs and marshmallows topped off our perfect days. We even rented the next door little cottage so we could have extended family members visit for overnights which made everything all the more special. A huge thanks to Joe and Marilyn Darby for their kind hospitality and sharing of such a priceless gem of beautiful "Pure Michigan"."

  • What a nice place!

"I rented this for a family weekend away. It was our first visit to Saugatuck and we had a great time. The property was very nice and the house had plenty of space and all the needed amenities. Karen was very accommodating and gave us several excellent recommendations for places to eat and attractions to visit. We loved visiting Saugatuck and are looking forward to a return visit."

  • GREAT PLACE TO CALL HOME WHEN VISITING SW MICHIGAN

"Our stay in cottage 2 was excellent. This was not our first cabin choice as we do not have a baby and we did not need the crib. It turned out to have everything we needed. This cabin was the right size for our family of five (oldest 17 and youngest 11). We hade plenty of room. The service was excellent and friendly. Our coffeemaker did not work the first day. They had it replaced the same day. I kind of hate to give this place a good review as I would prefer to keep it a secret selfishly. The only thing that could be improves is the pool hours. It closed at five each day. It turned out to not be a big deal as we were at the beach all day and did not need to swim. I highly recommend anyone staying here."

Saugatuck Travel Tips

Find a Comfortable Vacation at Saugatuck Vacation Rentals

When you are looking at taking a vacation, the last thing you want is stress. So why would you want to stay in a hotel room that is cramped and doesn't give you the chance to have some "me" time? Being with your family is great, but it's also important to be able to go into your own bathroom, fill up a deep, jetted tub, and take a long, relaxing bath at the end of a day filled with family time. So when you're looking at taking a vacation to Southwest Michigan, look into a vacation rental in Saugatuck, where you can get a house with multiple bedrooms, an inviting living room, a full-sized kitchen, and large, luxurious bathrooms.

There Is so Much to Do on a Saugatuck Vacation

Once you've got your Saugatuck lodging squared away, the next thing to do is decide what you and your family are going to do on your great getaway. For golf lovers, there are two amazing golf courses in the area found at Clearbrook Golf Club and Ravines Golf Club. Putt the day away on the course while driving away the stress.

Out on the water adventures await on the Star of Saugatuck, a stern wheel paddleboat tour that takes you along the Kalamazoo River and along Lake Michigan. You'll learn a lot about the area as well as get ideas of what attractions can be found. There are daytime and evening cruises, but many think the sunsets on the water are to die for, so you might want to consider an evening cruise!

Southwest Michigan Lake Houses Have Picturesque Views

When you choose a Saugatuck vacation rental, you're choosing to have beautiful views and a comfortable home instead of a confined hotel room. And most vacation homes are actually less expensive than a hotel, so really, the choice is a no-brainer! Go to VRBO.com today and find a vacation home for your next vacation.
