  • A great trip, again!

"This was our second fall trip (late September) to this cottage with a few other couples with whom we regular weekend. We enjoyed the house, the fabulous screened porch for a glass of coffee in the morning, and wine in the evening. We also love the proximity to the beach, the layout of the house in terms of having enough bathrooms and bedrooms for each couple, and just being in Union Pier! We love Union Pier and the surrounding area--Whistle Stop, the wineries... The first year we went (2013) there was a communication issue with the cleaning person and the house was not cleaned for our arrival, though it was in no way dirty. We ended up having to do a few loads of laundry, and emptying a few garbage bins. But the owner and owner's assistant were so kind and did the right thing by waiving our cleaning fee this year (2014). And we still returned despite that small mishap. They're easy to work with too! GREAT PLACE for adults or a family!"

  • A splurge that's worth it

"This premium-priced modern cottage is a class act all the way. It sits right on the beach in a charming (if somewhat overbuilt) lakeside community that is fun to explore on foot or bike. There are stunning views of Lake Michigan from both floors. The house is tastefully decorated, well-appointed, and comfortably furnished. Great bed, great shower, nicely equipped kitchen, bikes, barbecue, and use of a private beach. The house was impeccably clean on our arrival. The property manager is conscientious, friendly and helpful. The Dunes are glorious in the autumn, but be warned that most shops and restaurants in the vicinity seem to close down on October 1 and things are pretty quiet..."

  • Great Find in Union Pier

"Fantastic house in a great location. The house is a five minute walk to the beach at Lake Michigan as well as a table at Timothy's. The house is well appointed and decorated with a relaxed beach "feel" with an impressive kitchen. While we visited in late summer, would be a great place to stay in the Fall too. The private pool adds a nice touch and is in great shape. Would love to come back."

  • Fall weekend at " House of Dreams"

"Our family of 4 enjoyed a peaceful and cozy Fall weekend in this beautiful home! Even lovelier than the photographs...our children loved the sleeping loft, we all loved the fireplace, the numerous windows letting in natural light everywhere, comfortable and beautiful furnishings, well appointed kitchen, comfort and convenience throughout. The owner was a pleasure and truly made us feel as guests in his home. Beach is a a quick block or two away, gelato nearby,...We have spent 10 summers in UnionPier- This home would be lovely in any season! A little bit of French Country in Union Pier."
