  • Great home in Union Pier!

"We had a wonderful week at Aiden's Cottage. We had been coming to the area for over 18 years and we really enjoyed this home. It was clean, large and had whatever you needed for all different types of activities. I especially liked the screened in porch and spent time reading, playing games and knitting on it every day. We ate all of our meals out there and it couldn't have worked out better. Everyone was great to work with and were very responsive even with a very minor wifi issue we had. I would recommend staying at this home in Union Pier."

  • Beautiful Property and an Autumn Visit to Harbor Country.....

"Beautifully decorated Union Pier Cottage with all the amenities you could ask for....Wonderful kitchen, as well as gas grill outside on the deck, perfect for grilling dinner, even with a chilly rain outside. Add a bottle of wine, a crackling fire in the cozy and spacious living room area and the relaxation begins. Beautiful bathrooms and 3 lovely bedrooms (2 Large/1 small~~ but charming) with comfy beds and lovely linens. Nice TVs and WI-FI was great. Would have loved hooks or towel rack in the larger Master Bath, and also had to turn off the jacuzzi motor at night as it was rather noisy in the quiet of the surroundings. Laundry is available via access in the Storm Cellar, a bit dark but convenient. Pool was closed for season but his would be wonderful for families in the Summer I am sure. Saw 2 deer nibbling grass in the morning as I drank my coffee and they quietly circled in the lovely yard surrounding the house. Wonderful experience @ Chelsea House and thanks to the BLUEFISH folks for making it all so accommodating."

  • Beautifully appointed home in a great location

"We rented Four Seasons Bungalow for a week in late June, 2014, for a family vacation, bringing our 2 teenage girls plus 5 of their friends. The loft was the hub for the older girls, and the younger ones shared 2 downstairs bedrooms, while my husband and I had the 3rd. The beds are all very comfortable, with fresh new sheets (and nice towels in the bathrooms). The home is in a lovely neighborhood, and a short walk to the beach. The highlight of the home is the kitchen and the decor -- absolutely beautiful. If you like to cook, you will love this kitchen: big 3-part stainless steel sink, gas range, large refrigerator, dishwasher, all the utensils, appliances and dishes you could ever hope for! Plus a shared herb garden just outside the kitchen door… heaven! The backyard fire pit was a huge plus. The front porch is a sunny, peaceful place to drink morning coffee/tea. The shed houses beach toys and beach chairs/umbrellas. We enjoyed walking around nearby New Buffalo, shopping at the outlet mall in Michigan City, and even took the train for a day trip to Chicago one day. The restaurants in Sawyer and New Buffalo were great. (We went to Redamaks, The Stray Dog, David's Diner, The Roadhouse, Fitzgeralds and Greenbush). Four Seasons Bungalow is a top-notch spot, which I highly recommend. The owners were extremely accessible, friendly and accommodating."

  • Great Place!

"We recently stayed here and found the house and amenities to be excellent. The beach and close by wineries were also top notch. I would say you visit New Buffalo, but, stay in Union Pier."

Union Pier Travel Tips

Enjoy Lake Michigan by Staying in Union Pier Vacation Rentals

Union Pier, Michigan is a little town that was established in the 1870s. Later, this small town became a lakeshore community with resorts where vacationers would come to get away and relax. Now you can be one of those vacationers by staying in a Union Pier vacation rental. A small town, Union Pier has a gorgeous countryside that is dotted with little antique shops and galleries as well as a quaint ice cream shop.

Union Pier Lodging Provides Comfort and Relaxation

Union Pier is known as a popular vacation destination. Because of being located right on the coast of Lake Michigan, many come here to find relaxation and to de-stress from their hectic lives. In Union Pier, time slows down. There are no appointments or schedules. But to really enjoy this town and its easy-going lifestyle, you can't stay in a hotel. To do so would defeat the purpose of the vacation. Hotels create stress as your whole family is crammed into one or two bedrooms with two beds in each. You need a place where you can truly relax—where there is enough room for everyone.

Enjoy the Lake . . . Or Just Stay Home

What's great about a vacation in Union Pier is you can have an enjoyable time whether you go out or stay in. When planning your trip to Union Pier, lodging choice is essential. By choosing one of the many Southwest Michigan lake houses in the Union Pier area, you will get comfort and space to spread out. Instead of stressing over where to eat or how much it's going to cost for food, just get a few groceries at the local store and have relaxing meals in your lake house. Pack a picnic to take with you to the beach. Everything is low-key which is exactly what you need for the perfect vacation.
