"This was an excellent location for a family vacation. The home is even better than the pictures (and the pictures are pretty good). You have lake views from nearly every window which is fantastic. The layout on the main floor is perfect--TV away from the dining area and family area. The downstairs is perfect for kids. We have stayed in several homes for family trips in Michigan. This was our favorite. The owner is also incredibly helpful and responsive which is a huge bonus."Guest: EC Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 28, 2014View listing
"We had a nice stay in South Haven in July 2014! This home is 4 1/2 blocks to the beach, close to Kid's Corner park, and walking distance to town (5 blocks or so). It has a very nice deck and fenced back yard. As previously mentioned, it is not the cleanest place you will find. We always bring cleaning supplies with us, but there are cobwebs and signs of neglect. It seems as though the cleaning fee goes towards someone cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and sweeping floors. It's not terrible, though. The furniture is a bit worn, which shows the popularity of this rental. The owner is very nice and available when you call. As the previous review mentioned, there are no bikes, and the wagon had a large crack in it, so we didn't chance it. We also brought our own sheets and just changed the beds when we arrived, then changed them back when we left. This saved washing time (thanks to the previous reviewer!). It was nice to have the laundry facilities available, too! You can't beat the South Haven beaches - just beautiful! We love this town!"Guest: Jen Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 5, 2014View listing
"We had 11 people (6 adults and 5 kids aged 18 mos to 7 years) stay in the house for a week in August. We had a great time and would recommend it to large families. The kitchen amenities, family entertainment (tv) and patio furniture were all great. Thanks."Guest: Mike Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 22, 2014View listing
"My family stayed in this home over the 4th of July for 4 nights and had a great time. We had 9 adults and 4 young children. The home is very spacious and very well equipped. We have very high standards and they were met. Most importantly to us is that the home was clean!! We have stayed in other properties where this cannot be said. We were allowed access to a private beach only 5-10 minutes away. The hot tub was great. We cannot think of anything that needs improvement. The owners were available and helpful when we called with questions. We hope to return next year.!!"Guest: scott t. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 4, 2014View listing
