  • Ahhh,

"A great place to stay. Clean, well-maintained and surprisingly well-stocked with necessities. Wonderful yard with lots of privacy and safe for the kids to play. Clean, private beach to watch the momma duck (loon?) herd her ducklings on the rock at night. Great to be there at blueberry picking time in the back yard!"

  • Relaxing Vaction - Great UP Cabin

"Cabin is nicely equipped, clean and set in quiet surrounding. Centrally located in the UP to make driving to the main attractions very easy. Owners made scheduling the vacation dates simple. Dvd player IS provided, so bring movies for a rain day or late night activity. Pet friendly is excellent!! Pictured rocks and Kitch-iti-kipi are both great destinations. Hope to be back! Thank you."

  • Couple age 55. Were looking for nice, quiet place with cool climate and walking opportunities

"We loved location. You get out of door and find yourself in the beautiful park with lovely trail. There is another park in Escanaba, short drive from the house. Both parks located on Michigan lake. While in Escanaba, be sure to visit Swedish Pantry for great food and Leigh's Garden Winery for great wine. One hour drive from the cottage is city of Marquett which is well worth of driving to. There is farmers market in both Gladstone and Escanabe which offers great fresh produce, eggs, baking goods, etc The cottage is equipped with absolutely everything you might need during your stay. We always rent houses or condos for our vacation and we both agree that this cottage equipped better than any other place we stayed at."

  • Good Value

"We enjoyed our stay. Good location on a beautiful lake. Had everything we needed. It was a good value, clean, well maitained. Owner was easy to work with.. Directions and photos of property were accurate. We would stay again. We recommend eating at the Knotty Pine Cafe, 11 Main St, Gaastra, MI 49927. It is a small cafe that's family owned with great home cooked food at a good price. Fast, free WIFI can be found at Angeli's Foods, 833 Riverside Plaza, Iron River, MI 49935. They also have a movie theatre."
