  • Hancock cottage

"Very comfortable place to stay. This was our first time renting a home and it worked out well. Having internet access was a definite plus to help guide some of our destination decisions and keep track of the weather. The place is located about 3 miles from Mclain State Park and approximately 10 minutes to either Calumet or Houghton/Hancock. The views are really nice off the porch, particularly the sunsets."

  • Perfect dog-friendly getaway cabin

"Orchard Hill was the perfect place to get away for us with our 2 dogs. There are trails on this property that run through the forest and past farm fields that are private and can fill hours and hours of walking. At night, we could see stars and stars and stars. It was out of the way enough to be extremely quiet but close enough to civilization for resupplying groceries or looking for wifi, restaurants and shopping. The cabin is gorgeous, clean and cutely-decorated. The owners are very easy to communicate with and are friendly and helpful. I contacted many properties both in Wisconsin and Michigan, but the owners called me not long after I sent a request for information, and we set up the reservation almost immediately. It was extremely easy!"

  • Nice week in the fall

"We spent 10 days at the cottage in September/Oct and it was a great trip. The photos on-line, understate the quality of the property. Everything was spotless and the kitchen was inordinately well stocked with every item you could think of. Just bring groceries and you will have no reason to leave. The Sauna was immaculate and the shower there provided a great second half-bath facility. We brought our boat and put in at several local lakes including Superior and caught salmon and lake trout that were fantastic when cooked on the brand new grill."

  • Beautiful U.P. spot!

"We enjoyed a very relaxing week at your cabin! Comfortable beds, a kitchen with everything you could need, a washer and dryer so we didn't have to pack a lot, a fantastic location and view, woods and animals for my 12 year old adventure seeker to explore, a basketball hoop for my 14 year old who doesn't put the ball down and a comfortable couch and remote for my guy who rarely gets to sit! Your location made it easy to hit all the beautiful spots with an easy drive. We've been using VRBO for a long time and you kept the experience easy. Your home was perfect! Thank You!"
