"Past few years, this Artist's getaway, venturing to Grand Marais, Ella's Inn is my go to home away from home! Cozy, comfy, clean, charismatic and walking distance to all the goodies in Grand Marais. The price is fabulously reasonable, which is a gift. The other house guests are always wonderfully fun. Many friendships have started here…Terry and Lori are down to earth right on hosts/inn keepers!
It just don't feel right if I can't stay at the Inn, Ella's Inn!!"

"The place is awesome! It has everything you could need. Having air conditioners in every too was an added bonus. The house is much larger than the pictures depict. It also has a great private yard. We walked downtown and to the nearby boat ramp for Lake Charlevoix. I would recommend for anyone to stay here!"

"The house was ideal for our annual family reunion. We spent much time in the living room, kitchen and adjoining porch overlooking the lake. Very peaceful, yet close to Charlevoix. Enough activities (boating, tennis, hiking) on the property to keep everyone occupied."

"My adult children, their children, and I so enjoyed our two-week stay at Hope Cottage. This wonderful property not only provided bedrooms for all the adults but such amenities! My grandson played catch with his dad in the spacious yard; most of the guys played a little xbox at one time or another downstairs; we had access to a desktop computer; we all rested in the hammock. My six-year old grandson especially enjoyed the stocked game shelves. (We had some marathon Risk games.) But it was the stupendous view of Lake Michigan that we all enjoyed the most, whether from the Adirondack chairs on the decks or from the couch in the living room. Everyone but the 4 month-old splashed & swam in the lake, too, of course. And yes, we did walk to the Good Hart General Store for a cookie or two (& maybe pies) -- plus, we indulged in delicious crepes from the crepe truck. We're going back!"
