"If you're looking to get away from it all but still have the conveniences of town close by, this place is for you! Nowland Lake truly is a hidden gem: peaceful, clear water and a stillness that soothes the soul. The cottage itself is very comfortable and had everything you would need for your stay. The bedding is all white (feels cleaner) and smelled fresh and the memory foam mattress topper made it feel like we were sleeping in the clouds. There is a small window air conditioner that is sufficient for the space. With the breeze off the lake and the cool evenings, we really didn't even need to use the a/c. Overall, I would recommend staying at this cottage to everyone! We cannot wait to go back!"

"My husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandson and I recently spent a delightful week at Burns Street Cottage. The cottage is just as it appears in the pictures-spacious and clean. The backyard is very pretty with perennials, a picnic table, and a nice fire pit. The owner was prompt in answering our queries, available if needed, and also prompt in returning our damage deposit.
The cottage is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of both downtown and Depot Beach on Lake Charlevoix. We also drove about 2 miles to the McSauba recreation area where there are nature trails, dunes and a beach on Lake Michigan (no lifeguard, lightly populated). It’s also easy to bicycle to the Little Traverse Wheelway trail which runs between Charlevoix and Harbor Springs. My husband and I biked to and from Petoskey one day – 36 miles in all on an awesome trail.
Among its offerings, we enjoyed Charlevoix’s wonderful library, interesting “mushroom houses”, good restaurants, and friendly people. We can definitely recommend both visiting the town and staying at this cottage."

"My husband and I enjoyed the condo very much, especially the hot tub after skiing! The beds were very comfortable and the baths well appointed. The management was very friendly, they even made sure the walks were shoveled and salted everyday. I would defiantly recommend to someone. The only negative was the dishware and old pans, very hard water left a film on them. We spent a lot of time at Piersons, good food and drink, try the "Awesome Coffee"!!"

"We had the BEST week staying at this adorable little cottage on Crooked Lake! Everything about it was great! The owners are very friendly and enjoyable to rent from. The cottage met all of the needs for our family with young boys! It was clean and stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals. Watersedge Resort is beautiful! The boys had a blast playing with "neighbor" kids from the resort cottages. They loved playing on the beach, basketball court, swing set and grounds. We all enjoyed bon fires on the beach, swimming and our day spent on the lakes by renting a pontoon from nearby Ryde Marina. We had a perfect week at Watersedge; made many new friends and memories that will last a lifetime!"
