"This is our second stay at the Wilderness Watch. The 1st time was with extended family and this time it was just the 2 of us. We had a great time on both stays. Lots of bird feeders for my bird-watching husband (hummingbirds, woodpeckers, all kinds of birds!). Very peaceful and beautiful. Laurie is so accomodating and we plan on making this an annual or semi-annual trip. Key thing to note is this is a wilderness getaway and not a resort. But if you like peaceful and wilderness like we do, this is a great place to stay !"

"Really enjoyed our time. The house is great. Plenty of room, very comfortable and great location. Weather got cool towards the end of our stay but the home was always a warm and comfortable retreat. Would highly recommend this home to anyone!"

"Three families stayed here with 2 kids, 2 kids, and 1 kid for a ski weekend at Indianhead. The kids slept in the same bedrooms as their parents. The house has three levels, we stayed at what they call the main or upper unit which consists of the upper two levels - so this review applies only to that unit. The upper and lower units have separate driveways- so you don't even know the other occupants are there. Beds were very comfortable.
The unit is about 500 yards (?) from the arc-de-skiomphe marking the entrance to Indianhead ski area parking lot. This puts it just outside of realistic comfortable walking distance for adults or kids in ski boots. No problem though, its a 30 second drive to drop off your stuff and get going.
As others have mentioned, it is nicer than it appears in the pictures. Everything was clean and quite nice. Owner and caretaker both VERY nice, responsive and easy to work with. We all agreed we would stay here again, and just may do so in future years."

"My husband and I just spent a week at Cedar Loft and it was perfect! The sandy beach and clear water were very inviting, the sounde of the waves hitting the beach and the fresh cool lake air blowing through the windows was magnificent and made for a wonderful sleep.
Our hosts Diane and Glen provided everything you could possible need including a welcome gift of fresh baked bread and fresh eggs. The loft lacks for nothing and as other guests indicated, the photos do not give it the full credit it deserves. You need to visit to appreciate it.
The peace aand quiet the beautiful landscapes overlooking Lake Michigan make this a perfect place to vacation."
