"An excellent place to stay, very accommodating and home-like feeling to the place. The sun room was worth it all by itself. The kids could play games in the living room while the adults played cards in the sun room with the nice breezes off the lake coming in. Could use new beds, or at least mattresses. Not really uncomfortable, but not really comfortable, just old."

"Had a great experience at Bay Breeze. The house fit our needs perfect. We spent many hours on the large back deck talking about our kids and grand children's experiences. The beach was tremendous and the weather offered many hours to be there. The many local attractions (ex. Sleeping Bear Dunes, Fish Town, various wineries ) gave us other things to do. I would highly recommend Bay Breeze to any family seeking a fun vacation."

"Loved staying at this Log Cabin on the Straits of Mackinac. Perfect spot for our vacation. Felt like our Home Away from Home. Great Location as it is close to all the main attractions but away from the hustle and bustle of town.
Many fun things to do in the area (visit Mackinac Island, Parasailing, Hiking, Rafting, Biking, etc.). So cool to be able to sit on the porch or swings and watch the freighters go by and best of all the star gazing at night was unbelievable. Let all your Family & Friends know this place is a real gem."

"My husband and our two dogs had a great time at the cabin. We wanted something deep in the woods, private, rustic, with lake access and we got what we asked for. The cabin is small but has everything you need. Be sure to bring DVD's with you as there are none at the cabin, but there were some games and coloring books as well. We really liked how the house is set well off the main road, so sitting on the deck you felt completely private from the rest of the folks on the lake. Bring lots of bug spray with you as the mosquitoes come out in force around 5pm, but our nightly fire in the fire pit helped keep them away.
Note, most all cell carriers do not get service at the cabin, and there's no landline in the cabin. I could see this being kind of scary if you have small kids and there's no way to call in an emergency.
Regarding the lake access, it's a short walk to the dock, but it's not the kind of dock others have on the lake. The water is very shallow and full of water lilies, so there's no swimming or fishing from the dock. If it's not too windy we suggest you do what we did and take the canoe across to the other side of the lake on the point, dock the canoe and fish and swim there. It was a fun little private place to hang. And if it's too windy, head to the public boat launch. We waded in to our waists in the warm water and fished from the launch and caught blue gill, pike, bass and some sunfish. Nice little spot.
Great vacation spot for sticking close to the lake, but also a nice central location for people looking to drive to places like the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore as well. Great little getaway!"
