"We had a great time on this property. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The lakefront, yard, and deck we great. My kids bad so much fun running around and playing in the yard and catching pan fish off the pier. We would definitely stay again!"

"For those who like the quiet side, this part of Door County is perfect, and this cottage met our needs completely. Quiet should NOT be interpreted as dull, however.
*Great location - meaning a 5 minute walk to the ferry dock for the trip to Washington Island. Also, an easy drive to nearby state park and bluffs overlooks. Other attractions, such as Cana Island Lighthouse, an easy drive. The Maritime Museum just down the road from the cottage is a real treasure; take time to talk to the most knowledgeable young man who was there at the time we visited. Having stopped the day before at the maritime museum in Manitowoc, we were dubious about a small museum. But we were very wrong.
*Everything we needed to prepare meals. Try the fish from the market by the ferry dock!
*With such scenery and such sunsets, never noticed the lack of TV! However, we did have a portable radio and enjoyed Wisconsin Public Radio!
*Owner was quite solicitous, easy to work with when we made last minute plans, and very cordial. We felt completely at home and relaxed.
*We would definitely return; would love to see this country in the autumn especially and can imagine that winter is spectacular.
*Kayakers might appreciate the launches around. Also a good place for biking or hiking.
We have used VRBO previously and have been pleased. This cottage continues that tradition!
Thanks for a great visit."

Beautiful Cottage In a Beautiful Part of the World
"This was our first visit to northern Michigan and we had a wonderful time. If you are looking for a place to entertain or just to relax after a day of exploring you will love this house. The kitchen is fantastic and has everything you need to prepare a feast. The beds are comfortable and with four bathrooms no one has to wait to take a shower or get ready. The house was built in 1886 and has been lovingly maintained. We really loved the side porch just off the kitchen with a nice view of the back garden. The kitchen addition with a vaulted ceiling is considerably newer with modern appliances. Really wish we could have stayed longer."
