"We had a great time with our family. Walked to great restaurants. Beach was beautiful. Bonfire on beach and watching sunset a plus.
Sadly extremely loud construction all through week at 7:15 a.m. put a damper on morning enjoyment.
Otherwise the condo was lovely crisp, clean, cheerful, and very comfortable"

"My wife, adult son and I spent a week at the cottage near the fall foliage peak. The cottage met and exceeded our expectations. The welcoming gift package was well enjoyed and we enjoyed the MOOSE theme. On our first day there we committed to counting ALL the moose but we never completed the mission and I suspect we could not have arrived at an accurate count! The week we were there was unfortunately very rainy yet we remained very busy visiting sites in the area and we truly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The cottage is very well appointed and very well equipped. We prepare most of our meals and I cannot think of any kitchen item which was not supplied. The yard and beach are awesome and the cottage is so convenient to town, just a couple minutes away. It is so much better than staying in a cramped motel room. Everything was so clean and nicely appointed, I cannot think of a single criticism. Thank you so much Dick and Sue for the great accommodations. We also playing with the nostalgic games and engaging books! We would not hesitate to return again in the future. With the Headlands International Dark Sky Park, Wilderness State park, McGulpin Point lighthouse and Fort Michilmackinac all within a few minutes there is so much to do without even spending a minute in town or on the island. Great place to visit and much thanks for your reasonable rate during our stay."

"I searched for months for the perfect place to host my 40th Birthday. Finally I found this cabin away from the commercialism of up north Wisconsin that so many cities have become. Tom made booking easy, communicated quickly and clearly and that continued all the way throughout our trip. Having the boat, paddle boat, kayaks, access to store extra things in the garage and room to park our camper was beyond our expectations. We stayed in and cooked oat of our meals there, and we had everything we needed-including a coffee carafe which made morning coffee for 8 adults a steady availability! The kids never got bored and neither did the adults. Tom even brought us in a newer boat to use because he was concerned about the one he had. I was glad to do the cleaning up and not have to pay a crazy fee to do so. He made it an easy process. I can't wait to go back in the winter if not before! Thank you thank you for making my birthday weekend all I hoped for without worry!"

"The Caboose was a perfect getaway spot for my husband and I and the owner was very helpful in accommodating our unique date request. The location was remote and the cabin was a perfect size for the two of us. We were looking for a quiet, scenic, remote cabin to relax and this fit our needs. One of our favorite spots was on the dock where we listened to the loons and enjoyed the scenery. The wood supply was perfect for a campfire and we had everything we needed in the cabin.
The directions to the property were good but the cabin itself wasn't marked and we had some trouble locating the cabin at first. We didn't see the cabin beyond the other cabin on the property but once we drove up to the occupied cabin, we saw the Caboose at the end of the road. Once we found it we were thrilled with the location!
We enjoyed lunch at the resort nearby and shopped in the local shops. There weren't a lot of shopping options, but we weren't there to shop so that was okay.
I wish we could have stayed longer and we will be looking at coming back to the area again for a longer visit."
