"This log cabin far-exceeded our expectations. The cabin was clean and well-taken care of. The experience of renting was seamless and professional. The fall colors in the Keweenah were stunning. We'll be back and certainly would choose to stay here again!"

"We had a great time at your cabin. It worked just perfectly for us. Within ashort time we could be in any direction for the day and doing lots of sightseeing. As everyone else said, it is very clean, well decorated and has everything you might need for a weeks stay. Great views everywhere you looked. The fall colors were great. The Dreamland Cafe is a great place to catch a quick meal. it was worth the long drive from SD to relax and enjoy for a week. Thanks Kevin and Tammy."

It occurred to me that I never gave you feedback to our stay at Eagle’s Rest:
Everything worked out just fine and even better than we expected – we found our way on our bikes easily to the cabin. Upon arrival I was looking all over the place for the keys as described in your directions, however, could not find them. Until my husband checked the door and it was unlocked. A pleasant surprise.
The cabin is very well equipped and we found everything we needed and more. We greatly enjoyed the outdoor shower and hope that you will still leave it as an option to the beautiful bathroom you are building. We slept in on our last day and proceeded to start cooking a wonderful breakfast with some ingredients we bought on our bike trip to the village. On the second day vacation mode set in and we relaxed completely – a good thing – however, I was not aware, although stipulated in your lease – that we had to leave at 10 am sharp as I mentioned in my email that we will take the afternoon ferry back to the mainland. I just came out of the shower as your friendly neighbor knocked on the door shortly before 10 am. We had to abandon the cabin in a hurry, packing up the half-cooked breakfast and leave. Oh well, a quick farewell to this most gorgeous place you own. I guess in such a remote place, far away from civilization (so it feels) we did not realize that time still is passing quickly …
We left the island after a great experience “downtown” watching the 4th of July parade rolling through the village twice and meeting many kind and genuine friendly folks.
Enjoy your summer and wishing you good luck with your final touches on your very professionally done remodeling job.

"The cottage is only steps away from the Lake Superior shoreline and visible from the the covered porch. It is situated on a dead end street which provides a secluded, peaceful place to enjoy, but with the the companionship of folks from the other cottages at this location. We enjoyed meeting the other people staying there. The cottage was clean, the bed was very comfortable even with my bad back and there were plenty of freshly laundered towels for our use. It is located between Houghton-Hancock and Copper Harbor so it is not a bad drive to view the sights of both locations and all there is to see in between. Phillip was attentive to make sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Phillip!"
