"This was our first time at this beautiful property in Fish Creek although we have been vacationing as a family there for about seven years. Our family is multi-generational and there was plenty of activity (biking, hiking, swimming, kayaking, hanging out at the beach) for everyone. One very big plus is the close proximity to Peninsula State Park--a five minute bike ride, ten minute walk. The house itself is lovely and maintained very well. All beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, the gas grill was excellent--all things that contribute to easy vacation living. The owners were warm and communicative when we had questions. All in all a great vacation property!"

"We just rented this cottage mid-June of 2015. It couldn't have been more lovely. It's situated right on a clean, sandy beach with an amazing view of Lake Huron. There is a great fire pit on the beach and plenty of chairs. The views of the lake are simply beautiful as are the sunrises. We loved watching the freighters passing by day and night. (You can download an app, Boat Watch, and it will tell you all about the boat in front of you--where it's from, what it's carrying, where it's going.) There are houses nearby, but they're spaced apart so it felt private without being isolated. The location is great. It was probably 20 minutes from a larger town, which is where we stocked up on groceries, but there's a small store five minutes away for any last-minute items. This was exactly the vacation our family was hoping for after all the stresses of daily life. It was a chance to relax, connect with nature, enjoy the sand and water, and spend quality time together. Brian was a wonderful host; he was helpful as I set up the rental, and made great suggestions about the area. (Thursday pizza night at Rosa's was a hit!) We took day trips to Mackinaw City and Petoskey, but loved coming back to this cozy retreat. Oh, and the house was very clean, too! We will definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality, Brian!"

"This is the third time we have rented the Stone House for a "Wheeling Weekend". We have had up to 18people stay in the house and there was always room for everyone without feeling crowded. Plenty of parking, nice size kitchen, large dining room with enough seats for all of us and the sunsets are AMAZING! We have hosted friends form around the country (OK, GA, OH, IL, IN, NY, WI, NJ, Etc.) and they all loved the accomidations and the fact we could all stay in the same building.
Galen is a fine host and will try to do whatever he can to accomidate your needs. We have enven had more firwood delivered due to the unusually cold weather one year."

"My family and I spent a week in this beautiful home and considered it our best vacation ever. The home was clean and fresh and the surrounding area is stunning. The owners were accommodating and easy to work with from the initial contact through to our departure. The view of Lake Michigan from the house, both inside and outside, is incredible! We felt very much at home and hated to leave, but we left rested and full of great memories."
