"If you love nature and camping, this is the place for you. Imagine you are camping with a fire pit, deer walking casually by, birds chirping, a view of Lake Huron. And then when you open the tent flap, you are in a lovely 3 story home with all the comforts . If you cannot deal with mosquitoes and spiders and other bugs, you should stay away. There simply is not enough room to say how much we enjoyed our stay. 7 people, ages 17 to 62. We will be back next year."

"This property had a spectacular view as well as many amenities. We made use of the kayaks they had and they supplied all linens as well as beach towels.
The add said it had stairs and it did. It became a little difficult for my husband after a few days, but we were warned. The add well represented the property.
The owner as well as the people taking care of his property were very helpful and courteous. There are lots of things to do in the area, but if the weather is good you may have a hard time leaving it. The home has a lovely deck that you can eat at and enjoy the view.
I had forgotten about all the rocks north of town, so not good swimming. I would definitely recommend it to a friend with a little older children."

"Everything was very comfortable for the seven of us and the location of the house is so convenient to everything in town and also for a drive to Mackinac Island & the Bridge, Traverse City too, where we were able to enjoy the Cherry Festival. So much to do and see in this area and so beautiful! This home was very clean & comfortable, we enjoyed ourselves."

"Our stay at The Pine Cottage in Ephraim was perfect. This cottage is so conveniently located in the peninsula as a base to all of Door Counties activities. The cottage provided everything we needed for a very comfortable stay."
