"We had a great time and will go back again. My husband, 14 yr. old son and my self loved the location of this getaway, it was so peaceful and the view from the house was awesome. We loved fishing off the pier ( caught lots of perch and blue gill) and swimming also. The house is very clean and met all of our needs for the week. There are lots of things to do, we rented a boat for 2 days and explored/fished in many of the connected lakes. Hiked Bond Falls, highly recommend. The wildlife is also fantastic, we did not go a day without seeing bald eagles, deer and the lovely loons. Owner Laurie was great, full of info. on the area and the wildlife, we learned alot. Taking home great memories and few good stories."

"We just arrived home from a week's vacation and want to turn around to go back! We stayed at Moose Lodge which is absolutely gorgeous. The place was immaculate upon our arrival, great views, nice fireplace and outdoors fire pit which was fun making smores with the kids or just relaxing in the cool Northwoods night air. The finished basement was also great for kids to have their own space. We will definitely be back and I'm sure the other two properties would be just as inviting. This was a great find!"

"Lindsley Cove is one of the best VRBO homes we've stayed at. It is exactly as advertised. The cabin is very well stocked with many items that are normally the renters responsibility. The boat launch is in very good condition and eliminates the long ride back and forth to the public launch upon arrival and departure. The Cisco Chain continues to be a great destination for fishing. We caught every type of fish with the exception of Musky; however we saw several large Musky chasing other fish which we had hooked."

"Cabin was lovely - clean, spacious and very nice, well furnished! Worked very well for our multigenerational family getaway. When we arrived, however, there was a note stating the pontoon boat was broken (Lost prop) and would not be fixed until Tuesday. It actually took until late Thursday for the repair to be completed, so there were only two days to use the boat. The lake is mostly for kayaking/boating - no real beach for kids to swim and we were told the fishing is light at best - an owner next door indicated there's a fair amount of winterkill in the lake. However, Black Oak Lake is just down the road, has a great boat dock/and beach that we took full advantage of. There are some tasty restaurants in the area, from pizza to supper clubs. A very cool thing to do was to take the kayaks out at night (with headlamps) and look at the stars - the milky way and shooting stars were beautiful. The lake has little traffic so that wasn't a worry.
I would give 5 stars if the pontoon had been available all week, and if there had been a little bit of beach somewhere by the cabins. (I'd actually consider timesharing if there was some sandy shore.) All in All, A great getaway place for families to gather and reconnect. I can see using this for a winter retreat as well!"
