  • Cozy private getaway

"This property is a little slice of UP paradise! The cottage is adorable, private and very clean. The Paveys are wonderful hosts. The setting is very calming and picturesque, perfect for kayaking, fishing, or as a home base for your eastern UP adventures. Thanks for a wonderful getaway, Ed and Margaret!"

  • Wonderful!!

"We had our family reunion with 15 people at this magical location and loved everything about it. There was way more room than we needed (only used 3 of the 4 houses) and loved the space to spread out. The beach was great for the kids and the nearby sauna made the cold water easy to tolerate. The facilities were fantastic with a huge, well-stocked kitchen, a nice wood-burning stove, and large dining area where we could all eat together. Julie was very easy to work with and was always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend this wonderful, hidden getaway!!"

  • What a Great Place.

"We stayed from 13-20 July, 2014. Before writing anything let me say the cabin was spotless. Even though it says pet friendly, there was not a hair or smell anywhere. We met 2 of the gals that clean between guests and they mentioned the 2 collies and family that rented just before us and how much hair was left behind. The cleaning gals did a wonderful job. This is a great place to stay. The location is quiet and peaceful. The views are wonderful. It is fairly quick drive to anything you need to buy or if you want to eat . We hope to rent again in the near future. We did not have one issue during the visit."

  • Beautiful!

"I think several other reviewers have already expressed how wonderful this beach house is, so I don't have anything much to add other than IT'S ALL TRUE! We loved every minute, and we want to say a big thank you to Todd for allowing us to bring our dogs, too. It was a perfect Keweenaw getaway. Just a couple of things for prospective renters to note--bring bottled water, and grocery shop on the way there. You need to drive to Calumet for groceries because the store in Lake Linden is in process of bankruptcy or closing, and keeps almost nothing on its shelves."
