"We vacationed here for a week in June, with our 3-college aged kids. It was a great week - weather was in the high 70's, everyone enjoyed spending time on the lake in the boats, fishing, playing games, reading, and playing pool and other games in the game room. We cooked on a campfire most nights in the fire pit, but also in the fully supplied kitchen. Drove to Big Rapids one day and went canoeing. The cabin gave us plenty of room to spread out and lots to do together. We did bring a Mi-Fi so the kids could have some internet access. It was nice to have the laundry facilities and a dishwasher. The owner was great to work with and answered all our questions."

"Great amenities for the price, as other VBRO houses we looked at were ~40% more. Great location for going to a Lake Michigan beach, because Holland State Park (on Lake Michigan) is on the north side of Lake Macatawa, just like the house is. A biking/running trail goes from the house to the beach / pier (1.5 miles) and goes to other places as well. Nice patio too."

"My family of four just returned from 5 days at this wonderful cottage... it was everything we hoped it would be. The views of the lake from the cottage are just gorgeous, and they have plenty of room for a fire pit, outside eating as well as an impressive overlook that we enjoyed the amazing sunsets from each night. The inside of the cottage is very nicely furnished, you can tell that the owners really take the time to make you feel at home and provide anything you need. The space is very well laid out and it's open kitchen/dining/living room allowed for plenty of shared family time, without feeling cramped. The water was still pretty cold as we expected, but the sun and sand were warm and inviting. The sunsets are second to none, and drew us out of the cabin for hours each night.
Just another tip, if you have kids/teens add Michigan Adventure Park to your list, the coasters and water rides were thrilling, park was clean and not too crowded. We also traveled north to do a dune ride, and took in a few small towns along the way. We are in love with this area, and plan to return!
Give this one a chance, you will not be disappointed."

"This cottage was the perfect place for my husband, myself and my mother-in-law to enjoy a quiet week together. We enjoyed the open floor plan with the large windows facing west. The view was amazing, especially out on the deck extension where we were able to take in several gorgeous sunsets. It felt private and remote even though there were neighboring homes nearby. The cottage is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the gas grill and other amenities. Beach access is 127 steps down, but worth the trek on the private staircase. The landlords were very good to deal with from beginning to end, and were responsive to questions. For days when we wanted to drive into town, Holland was only 20 minutes away. We give high ratings to this cottage and to the relaxing and memorable week we were able to spend there!"
