"Talk about amazing home and great location. This was perfect for a week on the lake with 5 kids under 8, and 4 adults. Close to Michigan Adventures, and doable drive to Lake Michigan for a day trip to the sand dunes. The owners were great to work with, very accommodating and even helped us launch our jet skis at the launch. The refrigerator broke the week before we got there, and although the owners purchased a small fridge/freezer prior to our arrival, that was a small inconvenience. No washer or dryer, which also didn't break the trip, but would have been nice, as towels and swimsuits don't always dry overnight. Other than that, this please is great. Would highly recommend!"

"We loved this property and will visit again. It was in our budget and offered us all the things we were looking for on our vacation. We walked to the boardwalk several times each day and an easy walk to the both business districts, Washington St and US 31. The home was furnished to be kid friendly. We cooked breakfast every morning and 5 evening meals and always found the pans or utensils we needed to prepare our meals. Thanks for a great escape."

"We rented the upstairs unit of this guest house for the tulip festival. It was pleasantly spacious, bright and very clean. The bed was really comfortable and gave us a restful sleep. It is in a nice quiet location so we were able to enjoy sleeping with the windows open.
Dan, the owner, is a very nice person and went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed.
We certainly enjoyed our stay at this guest house."

"This was our first visit to this cottage and to Lake Michigan. Our family of four had a wonderful week long vacation here that, at least for my 9 year old daughter, beat out our trip to Disney World last year. She said that the only thing that would have made it better would have been to never go out! We did go check out Pentwater, though. We were a bit off season so some of the shops were closed, but we knew that ahead of time. We also went to Ludington to check out Big Sable Lighthouse.
Other than that we spent lots of time hanging out in this house. We read books, watched a few movies (they have cable and Netflix), enjoyed a couple fires in the fire pit, swam and jumped around in the waves and walked the beach. It was delightful.
The house was clean and comfortable. It had all the items we might need to cook and enjoy the beach. There were even lots of random household items like bandages, shampoo, tons of towels and I found a couple pins in the bathroom drawer that came in handy while we were there. It is decorated with pictures from the owners' families which gives it a lovely personal feel.
I experienced great communication with the owner by email. I had several questions during the planning process that were answered in a timely and pleasant manner.
We all agree we'd be happy to come back to stay here again!"
