  • Perfect weekend away

"Just back from a fabulous girls weekend. Our cottage stay was "perfect" in my sisters words and more than we could ever ask for. Arriving in 3 feet of snow, the owner greeted us with a warm smile and a freshly cleared and salted path to walk up to the cottage. When we entered the house a fire was going in the fireplace and it was so inviting. We were instantly convinced we'd have the time we were hoping for. Before the arrival and during the booking process Cory was always available to answer questions and offer advice on fun things to do in town. I never once had an issue contacting him and he was always so upbeat to talk with. I could tell he enjoyed renting this lovely property out. His service continued with excellence during our stay and he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, felt at home, and cared for. Some of our favorite moments included roasting marshmallows around the fire place, having a fabulous dinner at the Kirby grille room, sipping wine in the porch and relaxing the night away. Ps. He even provided slippers so that our feet wouldn't get cold due to the frigid temps outside. Who does that? :) service like that doesn't exist anymore. Overall we had the best most memorable time. Can not wait to go back!!!"

  • Relaxing Stay on the River

"My husband, myself, and our 2 dogs enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was as described. The home was clean and the owners were easily reached by phone. I enjoyed walking to the nearby park. The view was excellent through out the house. Hope to come again next summer!"

  • Perfect Vacation Home!!

"Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids under 10) stayed here for a long weekend in June. The house was better than advertised! VERY family friendly. It's located in a great location with easy bike (which they provide) rides to the water. This will be the only place we will ever stay at from now on when visiting Grand Haven!"

  • Incredible view and well equipped

"My wife and I (aged 64) rented this cottage for ten days Juy 2-12, 2014. It is the most well equipped cottage we have ever rented; from the toys, beach towels and chairs, BBQ and well appointed kitchen...this is a great cottage. Fantastic view is why you rent this however. Spent hours looking at the lake, reading and simply absorbing Lake Michigan breezes. Sunsets like you have never seen...and the occasional thunderstorm is like being at IMAX. Note: many stairs must be negotiated, both up to the house, upstairs bedrooms and down to the beach, if this is an issue, be aware. Owner is in the process of replacing older TV with flat screen as well as replacing aging deck/patio furniture. Owner is easy to work with, pleasant and eager to please. We would rent again, for sure."

Grand Haven Travel Tips

Vacation on Lake Michigan by Staying at Grand Haven Vacation Rentals

Grand Haven is a wonderful city to visit because despite all the fun activities that go on there, it still remains to have that wonderful small town feel. Within the city are over 100 miles of trails for bicycles, which makes it a great town for those who are bicycle enthusiast. The town also boasts its own beach, two lighthouses, and a pier. But no one likes to feel like a tourist. What if you could vacation in Grand Haven and yet feel like a local? You can by renting a vacation home in Grand Haven instead of staying at a hotel. Vacation homes are homes owned by those who vacation in Grand Haven, but who would like to give others the opportunity of staying there when it's not being used. This gives you a chance to really feel like a local—and plus you get so much more room than a hotel offers, and yet it usually costs around the same or less than a hotel.

Enjoy a Relaxing Time in Grand Haven, Michigan

Once your Grand Haven lodging has been taken care, the next thing to do is choose what you're going to do during your stay in Grand Haven. Another must-see are the two lighthouses located in Grand Haven. The first one was built in 1839 and the second one was built in 1875, making these lighthouse of real historic significance.
